What an incredible experience this was! Quiet and peaceful yes, but I would go as far as to say magical. The goats, the sheep, the cats, being all so friendly and ready to greet you the moment they know your there, waking up and having a few of the goats come say hi while your having your morning coffee, having the cats follow us and be with us every moment we were on property was just magical. You can tell it is very well kept and cared for, the property and the animals. All the necessities are provided, so much thought went into this hideaway. Everything from dishes and utensils all the way down to fire starter making our bon fires very easy to get going. They did not miss one thing. In the community barn where the games are, everything that you needed to play each game and have it be actually enjoyable was provided. So mindful, so demure. We did end up getting ants after that first night there in the kitchen area, but we contacted the owners and they immediately responded with how to get ant traps from their little supply shed on site. We were just gonna go buy some but we didn’t even need too. The little black barn was so adorable and quite comfortable. My only complaint if you would even call it that is that I wish the sink was….different. It is very cute but not that functional and when it’s being used as a bathroom and kitchen sink, a different one would have been better. Notice how I didn’t say bigger lol, but different. The tiny house living is not for everyone, but my husband and i absolutely loved this experience. The way the owners have done English Creek Hideaway makes it hard to not love it. We even were able to bring our dog who also had the most amazing time of her 1 year old life! This was a truly exceptional stay and I thank you for opening it up for us...
Read moreWell, where do I begin English creek? Hideaway is the most remote charming, lovely 5 acres. To step foot on from the outdoor showers to the soaking tubs. Under the stars, the sauna beautiful for cold nights, lovely fire pits barbecue grills. The complete place was built by the owner. Himself, I believe his wife helped as well, never really spoke with her but Andres, is one stand up guy!!! His communication was 5 stars all the way as it only rang. Twice before he picked the phone up and was at my service. Very good guy, they have firewood for days. You just need to pay $25 per wheelbarrow, and $15 per basket. Maybe 12, all in all Great to have good firewood. Ready to burn on cold nights? This place is very secluded. Each location from the a frames to the small barns has complete privacy. This place was made with that in mind. Me and my wife had a excellent anniversary getaway. I would come back here. Next year again, thanks again. Andres, for such a great time, at your lovely peace of heaven on earth. Tell the goats we said, hello, and big sheep. They sure do have a deep voice. And by the way, I hold the world record, the fastest ping pong game, winning in less than 2 minutes game was to 15. Thanks for all the games. And everything you do.

Read moreHidden Gem in the Smokies!! We were doing a family vacation with 4 young kids, 2 grandparents and 2 couples, we needed space and entertainment, this place has it all. We arrived to the cutest goats you have ever seen on the property, 2 sweet sheep and a huge barn filled with all the games, tables and swings and hammocks and a fire pit, everything adults and kids could want to have fun outdoors. Inside the main house we had a huge 75" tv and super comfortable reclining sofas and a very well equipped modern kitchen and the beds! are super comfy!! The bathrooms are newly done and gorgeous. There are bunk beds for the kids and there are toys inside also. We stayed in the Silver Chalet which is very romantic and peaceful and so comfortable. We had everything we needed in there but were close enough to the family that we could stay connected. In the chalet we had a wonderful HUGE bath for 2, outdoor shower and our own private fire pit, completely secluded but with a full view of the animals and the gorgeous scenery. The ONLY negative is we had to check out! lol Would have been super easy to stay a long time! We will be back, do yourself a favor and book one of these for yourself and you won't want to...
