I have seen how Stay Minty responds to negative reviews so I want to go on the record by stating that we indeed stayed in dome 3 in Cosby from 6/28-6/30 and the reservation was made by my fiancé, not me. It is very cute and the pictures on the website are 100% accurate. It was peaceful, quiet, comfortable and a fantastic way to unwind after four days of going pretty hard. Little to no cell service and no Wi-Fi for 36 hours was a nice break. I read all day yesterday and my fiancé took four naps. That being said, a few things that were inconvenient. The first being we were not aware that we would have to park and walk, but that’s our fault for not seeing it on the website (though it is not overtly mentioned). It would have been something that the hosts should have sent as a friendly reminder in one of their texts as that is the only way they communicate with their guests, but I digress. We would have packed differently had we known we would be dragging large suitcases up a steep hill covered in loose stones. Thank God I do sled pulls and pushes at the gym. The second is we had no running water in the bathroom sink and when my fiancé messaged them, they told him to turn the faucet to the right or left for cold or hot water. So thank you for assuming our complete ignorance; however, that was not the issue. He even attempted to fix the issue himself but there was absolutely no water. So we brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink. Side note on the kitchen sink… the faucet was RIDICULOUSLY big for the size of the sink. Every time we turned it on, we were afraid the water was going to spill out everywhere. It looked nice, but functionally it fell short. And the final issue was the trash. With the prevalence of bears in the area, it is obviously important to take your trash out and they have caged areas where you can bring your trash. When we arrived on Wednesday, their trash bins were completely full and when we received our checkout text, they reiterated the importance of taking our trash out. My fiancé messaged them back saying the bins were completely full and over flowing and they assured him the trash would be taken out by this morning. We had seen other guests during the day attempt to take out their trash and were unsuccessful. Checkout is promptly at 10:00am and we were packed and ready to go by 9:00am so perhaps we missed the guy but they were still full when we were leaving Friday morning so I double bagged and knotted the trash and we disposed of it back in SC in our dumpster. Overall, it was pleasant. We would never stay there again solely because of the lack of customer service and the impossibility of communication. There are plenty of other cabins in the area where you get your money’s worth. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and my fiancé made it happen and for that, I am grateful. And we had a really nice time just enjoying the peace and quiet. It was a nice way to spend the end of our vacation but we definitely wouldn’t stay here again. Customer service is everything for us, especially when you have spent as much time in customer service as we both have. I know there is someone who cares for the domes and it would have been more meaningful if she had been a host and made guests aware of her presence and how to reach her if needed. We are in the south and we’re known for our hospitality. This is a great concept and the domes themselves were great but the customer service was poor enough that we would...

I booked a bachelorette trip for a group of 10 women at the Dolly Dream House 1 hosted by Stay Minty in Nashville, Tennessee from what was suppose to be Thursday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 6th. We booked this house six months in advance and gathered from all over the country to celebrate our gorgeous bride to be.

The trip we had waited so long for quickly turned into a nightmare that we will unfortunately remember forever. Upon arriving to the property, the bathroom toilet closest to the kitchen would rock when you’d even touch it. (The cleaners prior to our stay, would’ve noticed it, as it was that bad.) I have picture and video proof evidence. I also have picture proof of vents completely covered in dust and dirty vanity’s in every room. As we quickly settled into our home, we noticed that anyone barefoot had dirt black feet. (Pictures also available). But that’s not even the worst part.

Friday, October 4th not even 12 hours into our stay is when the trip was completely robbed from us. We woke up to the worst nightmare of finding bed bugs in Dolly’s Dream House 1. I immediately called our host, Stay Minty, and explained the traumatic situation repeatedly to a woman by the name of Sonia. Sonia spoke broken English so it was very difficult to understand her. Sonia informed me that maintenance would be there in 30 minutes. But no, 2.5 hours later, a man by the name of David arrived from the maintenance department with ant/roach spray, NOT bed bug treatment. David was unaware that we were dealing with an infestation of bed bugs. In fact, David told us that the maintenance department doesn’t handle pest control, that he would have to make a phone call to higher beings to get pest control to us immediately. David stated before leaving that pest control would be there within 30 minutes but that was not the case.

After two and a half hours (four and a half hours since first contact) of no contact from our host, Stay Minty, or any signs of pest control, I had to reach out for answers. Mind you, in the mean time, we have 10 women who are camping out on the rooftop, we have completely packed all of our belongings into garbage bags, threw away all of our party decor(limiting any chance of carrying bed bugs to our personal homes) completely on edge waiting for our next steps as we feel completely helpless, clueless, and hopeless for what’s to come.

At 3PM we received a text from a completely different host,by the name of Hallson. Stating that our home was almost ready. Mind you, we never heard from Stay Minty after the maintenance gentleman,David had left. The host, Hallson seemed like a scam to us as we were never informed by Stay Minty of next steps or even given an option to be relocated or COMPLETELY refunded.

At this point, our vacation is completely ruined, we spent over two hundred dollars heating our belongings, washing our belongings and drying them at the laundry mat instead of enjoying our vacation that we all worked so hard for!!! We all just wanted to go home at this point, but without given us an option they relocated us to another home to finish our horrid exhausting weekend.

At this point, I feel the least they could do to make things better is a complete refund to cover our laundry expenses, travel expenses, and the mental, emotional, and physical inconvenience of the...

I have to be honest, I seen a TikTok about a “glamping dome” and thought do people really do this?? After checking out a couple of videos, I got online to research and immediately wanted to go. I text a couple of friends and told them I had booked a dome and to mark the dates on their calendar. We read over the recommendations and packed our bags. We arrived a little later in the day (already dark) and immediately found our dome. The view from the street was magical. Domes and outside lighting swept across the mountainside and it was the most perfect backdrop. We unloaded our things and got familiar with the dome. The amenities were amazing! Fire pit. Hot-tub. Picnic area with fire pits and cornhole boards. WiFi area. Inside the dome was beautifully done. The kitchen had a full size fridge and dishwasher along with a microwave and 2 burner stove top. The living room was spacious and so perfectly decorated. The master bedroom had more than enough space for 2. The loft was also spacious and was extremely comfortable. There was a roll away mattress which came in handy downstairs. The bathroom provided more than enough storage space with a custom shower and large vanity area. Not one thing that I would have changed or improved. Stay Minty provided us with coffee and a canister of different sweeteners….such an awesome detail to have for your guest! They provided space heaters and electric blankets which we definitely took advantage of. Each morning we will able to open the shades and just relax in peace with coffee and have the most amazing outdoor views. The WiFi from our dome was spotty and there is no tv, which I thought would cause some frustration with several guest but not the case! Everyone on our trip loved to disconnect and relax. Honestly the best girls trip we’ve ever had! We were close enough to downtown Gatlinburg to tour local distilleries and grab food to make it seem like we were in the middle of the city but just a few short miles away on a less traveled road set the best scene for a relaxing weekend getaway. We are already planning another girls trip, individual family trips and couple trips. 10 out of 10 would recommend going again. GLAMP by Stay Minty provided us with so many suggestions on things to do, eat and see. Plus gave us suggestions on things we may need for our dome, like slippers. Don’t forget your slippers in the...

Good idea but poor execution! I had the privilege of winning a free trip for two nights to GLAMP by Stay Minty in October 2022. Me and a friend drove from the Northeast to Tennessee and arrived very late at night, the drive into camp was pretty sketchy on a very dark and windy road with many no trespassing signs and broken down sheds in the neighborhood didn’t appear very welcoming. Once we arrived our dome was decorated beautifully with nice amenities, however we found many dozens of beetles on our curtains in the living room and we tried to contact Stay Minty but we had no cell service and quickly realized there was no one on the grounds from the company that could assist us after looking around the camp site. With no other options in the middle of the night, we slept in our dome with the beetles. The next day we learned that after turning our heat on, the beetles started the fly around. Again we tried to contact Stay Minty but with no one to talk to in person and little reception, all they asked was for a picture of the beetles to forward to their cleaning service. There was no way to rectify the situation and we spent a second night with the bugs, and we had to shut off our heat so they would stop flying and we could sleep. This was not the best experience for two girls that drove from very far and weren’t familiar with the area and didn’t have any way to really get in contact with the company to fix the bug situation. I will say the dome is very beautiful and decorated amazingly, so if the many bugs weren’t a problem we probably would have had a good experience. The neighborhood the domes are located isn’t great but it’s a short drive to the National Park and Gatlinburg which seemed more friendly to tourists. After several weeks I realized I lost my Garmin device after this trip and I contacted Stay Minty to locate the item. They found it but insisted on charging me $75 to ship it back to me. This left a really bad impression for me after the trip experience in general. Please beware of the lack of customer service at this company and camp at your own risk!

Initial Impression: From the moment I walked in I was in total Awh. Although I obviously viewed the Domes on Tiktok & their website BUT it really takes seeing the Dome in person to really allow you to appreciate the craftsmanship and the sheer size of the space the dome Provides. The Details: From the stocked kitchen that provides you the essentials to prepare just about any campsite dinner to the clean towels & basic shower essentials provided by Minty put a lot of thought behind your needs while in their space. Other Comments: - We stayed in the Dome "Lucy In the sky" I would highly suggest booking this dome If you're a couple or small family as we feel this was one of the more "Private" domes they had available. It was perfectly spaced from the Neighboring dome. - There isn't a Microwave Oven, so any baking needs will need to be done by fire. - The shower is on the smaller side and my partner who is 6'1 found it a little difficult as the shower head was positioned in a way that didn't allow much adjustment. - The kitchen sink is on the smaller side limiting what you can wash without making a mess, (However there is a hose outside, which doesn't hurt anyone you're camping!) - I was making dinner and found the kitchen space to be alittle dim. ( I spoke to someone who asked about our stay and I suggested just adding an additional push light in the kitchen as it just needed alittle additional light! - I was able to meet the owner & the support staff, I was absolutely impressed to learn the owner is a young 28 year old Entrepreneur whose poured her heart and creativity into this project. She and everyone we interacted with were beyond sweet and committed to making our experience a great one. HIGHLY SUGGEST BOOKING!
