This place is magical, if you like the sounds of birdsong, rushing mountain rivers, and the patter of rain on the tin roof! You won’t miss the sounds of traffic, sirens or even other humans speaking! The night sky is beautiful, free of light pollution and awe-inspiring! The place was clean, and thoughtfully stocked with almost everything you need to glamp! The service was excellent! Upon arrival, it was quite warm in the house but with those gorgeous double doors and all the windows, it cooled in no time and we slept like babies! Off the balcony, you may notice a tree that has a burl that looks like it has a bears head on the side, welcoming you to the woods! (See the pic) The beds were super comfy and the place is extremely well maintained! I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to get away from humanity to reconnect with nature! We saw bears up there, climbing the hills and valleys of the mountain on our relaxing and gorgeous winding road ride up to the place! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I can’t wait to return! Get yourself a reservation as soon as you can! You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed at that place on Tuesday. Before falling asleep, ants came out on the bed, and there were no mosquitoes but many flies on the ceiling. There were too many bugs, which was quite unsettling. The next morning, my husband had bite marks all over his arms and legs, and he was in pain from the itching. As the bug bites swelled up gradually, they have become extremely grotesque and the itchiness has intensified even more by the second day. We're not sure what kind of bugs bit us, but it seems necessary to take measures regarding the infestation.

Visited Treehouse #3 and it was absolute magic! Perfect beautiful Fall weather - daytime upper 60's, nighttime upper 50's. Brought the dog - she looooved it. Wonderful dinner prepared & cooked in the outdoor kitchen/grill. Great relaxation around the fire ring. Breakfast & coffee in the AM listening to the distant Tobes Creek and happy birds. Comfy bed, great hot shower, no-stink toilet! Couldn't have improved a thing!

We just spend 3 relaxing nights at the Smoky Mountain Sky Camp Tree House #1. The experience exceeded our expectations by a long shot. The cabin is at the end of a road secured by a locked gate. The cabin itself is secured with a key pad. We booked directly though the website and glad we did because the payment and check in/out process was contactless and seamless.

As far as amenities go Smoky Mountain Sky Camp provides just about everything you could possibly want up there! Full on cookware, a propane stove top, a propane grill, and dishes. They even provide a 5 gallon jug of primo water and replenish it! We mostly used this water for dished and cooking as we brought our own bottled water.

For being an off grid glamper I was really surprised at how weathered in it was. We had 2 crazy Smoky Mountain down pours and lightning storms and we slept sooooo goood! We even had a bear encounter the first night!!! But the double paned windows and locking French doors made us feel safe and sound!

Another thing that was beyond our expectations was the hot shower! Yes! A private hot shower! The composting toilet was well done too! It is inside the tree house so you don't have to walk into a bear at night to pee! Whatever ventilation system they are running on it is the best I've seen! Absolutely no smells!

The beds were more comfortable than the beds in the hotel we stayed at the previous two nights in Gatlinburg! The location puts you right on the Tennessee/North Carolina boarder so the amount of stuff to see and do is ridiculous.

We traveled with our dog and Smoky Mountain Sky Camp could not have been more pet friendly. Bowls, Dog Gate, and even a towel for wiping off your dogs feet after a high elevation #2! We liked the hook to hang the leash on so we weren't constantly loosing it.

The last thing Ill say without spoiling too many of the surprises when you visit is at Tree House 1 we had cell service!!! Amazing time and we cant wait to come back and try one of the other...

I had such an incredible time Staying at Smoky mountain sky camp with my family. Brenna sent a helpful email about a week before our stay telling us everything that we needed to know. We felt at home before we even arrived! We stayed in treehouse #1. It was clean & incredibly well organized. There was a book containing lots of information about the cabin, local businesses, even descriptions of the native plants & animals. There were hiking trails leading right from our cabin & even more in the Great Smoky Mountains national park. We spent two days hiking & swimming in the park & never traveled more than a few miles from the cabin. We especially enjoyed the grill & fire pit. We had so much fun & cannot wait to come back & check out the other cabins. Thank You Brenna & Smoky Mountain Sky Camp for a wonderful getaway & see...
