Not a safe place for families. We saw a bear, it came really close to our site while we were making s'mores (and at night it rummaged our site), there was a gas leak and electrical issue (good luck finding a reliable enough outlet that will charge your phone through the night). Fairy lights stream right by your head and could easily wrap around your neck at night. They'll look for things to try and charge you for several weeks after you leave. It would have been 5 stars until they pulled out there microscopes. I own a small boutique hotel and I would never do what they are doing to a guest, especially when you offer camping. - No washer and dryer. Which at first glance is as described, but If you get anything organic on a sheet they'll try and charge you for having to wash their sheets. The stains (pee stain) they claimed come out, we know. - No where to reasonably wash dishes. They will request money from you saying you left the dishes a mess. - There was a literal gas leak during our stay that WE REPORTED. They tried to take a picture of the gas line (which is not up to code, it should have a shut off in the unit) and say that we did something to make it leak. - No cleaning supplies, then they take a picture of a table with stuff on it, trying to collect $65. saying it took them 3 hours to remove a stain. - Ants. They say we brought ants. It's glamping, and when you have gaping holes in your tent. If a morsal of food drops on the floor, you are going to have ants because of all the holes. We didn't bring ants to Wanderlust, nature did that. Those ants were marching one by one because of muscle memory not meat. - Electrical issue. I've provided a picture of the wonderful wiring configuration they tried to blame on us. There was a short in the surge protector, and some how that's my fault. Just look at there wiring. It was a great stay, but was surprised to have a payment request for almost $200 almost 3 weeks after our stay focused on cleanliness issues. It's funny because I took pictures because I wanted to help them, I was going to share the photos with them so they can improve. I forgot to share the photos, but I did give them some personal feedback. It's good thing I took the pictures, as they seem to have a different approach to improving. Location is great, they do have some kind of maintance guy on site living in one of the glamps. Being by the stream was awesome. I was planning on coming back next year, but we'll definitely look for a different host.

We booked this place last minute after several nights in a row of basic hotel stays. When I say last minute, I mean last minute. We were driving when I found it and set to arrive in just a few hours. I requested to reserve the site and got a response right away that it was available. I had some trouble locating needed info and they responded to me frequently and helped me when I couldn't find the code for the door. It was very, very cold upon arrival, and we were trying to get the place heated up but tripped some breakers late in the night. The upstairs was warm, though, so we all moved up there. The next morning, I told them what happened, and they told me exactly how to fix it within minutes. The second night was much more comfortable but still chilly. Keep in mind this is glamping, so camping with a flair. I understand the dome was cold on two pretty frigid nights. There was plenty of bedding, and we also had some of our own to stay warm. There was coffee to brew and even snacks. There was a fire ring with firewood provided, and we took advantage of that. I can tell it must be pretty new, and there is still construction, so we looked the other way on the materials behind our dome. The view was beautiful, and the trickle of the stream was relaxing. We loved it here and would definitely visit again.

Wonderful week spent at Wanderlust Woods. The campsite is wonderfully designed and thought out. I stayed in Mimosa Hill and enjoyed every part of my stay. It is in a perfect location, a short drive to many activities in the area, while still being secluded enough to feel very private. Beyond the wonderful tent set up and fire pit, there is a beautiful creek on the property where my group and I spent many hours. Our tent was perfectly equipped with everything one would need for a perfect stay including a coffee machine, fridge, and microwave among other amenities. It was the perfect mix of being in the outdoors without the tasks of a typical tent camping experience. We will without a doubt return to the site and look forward to many more exciting stays.

ZERO STARS!!!!⭐️ Unfortunately this is BY FAR the worst air bnb experience we have ever had. We have used air bnb for 6 years and have never dealt with such an inconsiderate host. 6 hours prior to check in we received a message from the host stating our original booking site was no longer available due to a “hot water issue”. I was at work at the time and could not fully address the situation- they offered to move us to a similar location they owned. We agreed, not fully realizing the extent of what was going to happen. After driving 4 hours on Valentine’s Day to our air bnb we were instantly greeted with disappointment. We were moved to the “Marianne” location, which is NO WHERE NEAR as nice as the original Frida location we booked. We were not even provided with proper sleeping arrangements, we were given a leather sofa and 2 twin beds. When the original listing we had booked had a built in full bed ready for use. On Friday night we made it work with the twin beds, not even sleeping in the same bed as my partner on valentines weekend. We did this because a leather pull out sofa with no extra bedding and a mattress topper covered in rat poop was not what we intended to use and that was all they provided. On Saturday morning upon waking up I reached out to the host and request they move us to another location on site that was available that DID have a full size bed and began trying to work with them to make us both happy. I was immediately told no that was not possible unless we were willing to pay even more after already paying $400 for this terrible weekend that was already not going as planned. Marianne is not up to date what so ever and was a complete dump compared to what we booked, it smelled awful and really lacked everything we were hoping for. On top of this the tv volume does not work what so ever. So horrible sleeping arrangements and no tv. When I was told moving would cost even more money I informed the host we would be contacting air bnb to refund us and cancel our reservation for the remainder of the weekend. The host had no intentions of helping the situation. After they argued with air bnb for over 24 hours on refunding us, even though we would not be staying the second night booked nor were we happy with the switch air bnb eventually sided with us and gave us money back. This is exactly why you always book through air bnb. This host has requested twice now that I have personally seen that you book on their direct site. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT. Had we have done that we would not have been able to get air bnb customer support involved for a refund. I am so disappointed. Valentines weekend in the smokies was a complete bust due to such an inconsiderate, money hungry host. Spend your hard earned money else where, and stay FAR FAR away from Wanderlust Woods. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE☹️ They requested we only write positive reviews and if it was negative to message them personally but I do not think that is fair to anyone who spends...
