Let me begin by saying the view is gorgeous and it worked for the type of wedding I wanted. However, we payed a lot of money for a weeks stay and the night we arrived the fire alarms were going off and none of the numbers we called (the caretakers and the owners) responded. Obviously we called the fire department but they couldn't find anything wrong and told us there was something wrong with the system. It was two hours!!! before the caretakers finally called us to resolve the problem. Then, the cable did not work and neither did the heat in one of the rooms so we had to ask them to come fix those things as well. Finally, the cable in the master room would not work so we called the caretaker. Moments before she arrived we got it to work and when we told her this she slammed the door in anger apparently because she had been bothered to come fix it. For as much as we paid I was very disappointed and I would NOT recommend anyone else renting this place and in fact others who have seen my wedding pictures asked about the place and I explained to them to rent another house that I was aware of in the area instead of Ski Esta. The caretakers and the constant breaking of things such as heat and fire alarms going off for hours was ridiculous. The best part- the owner never thought to refund any money...

We had a great time, however the day we checked out the caretakers arrived 20 minutes early and just walked right into the home, being VERY rude to all of us. With such a high cost and them being so strict on check-in/check-out times we really should've gotten to stay until check-out without these people barging in, and not to mention, for the 5 star cost, we should have had 5 star service.

They also accused us of damaging items, which I advised we didn't (she would not give an opportunity to speak- just basically told us too bad we needed to pay), and then would not supply photos with the timestamp when asked. It's been a month and still no photos.

Word of advice : If you're going to rent this home, be prepared to pay a lot of money for it and it not be the sparkling home they portray. Also walk slowly through the ENTIRE HOME upon arrival and record everything inside and out. Then send it to the owner, who FYI is very manipulative and will NOT take your word for anything. Lastly, be prepared to fight for your security deposit.

Awesome place to spend time and enjoy the pool, theatre and accommodations. However facilities desperately need maintenance. Doors were falling off hinges, light fixtures were out, bathtub drain and shower controls didn't work properly. Pool table, balls and cues were an embarrassment. It would cost no more than $100 to make upgrades to the pool table to make it enjoyable but there were no tips on the cues and the balls were pitted beyond belief.
