Gull Lake Beach Resorts — Hotel in Nisswa

We had a great time in Unit 18. Accommodations were as described and very comfortable. It’s well maintained, clean, quiet. The lakeview was beautiful. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I don’t have any complaints about the accommodations. The association also rents boat lifts and boats. We rented the boat lift and it worked great. We chose to rent our boat from Boats and Beyond Rentals. The boat rentals through Gull Lake Beach Resorts states, “Every person on the boat, including the RENTERS, must wear a life vest at all times.” No other rental agency had that rule. I tend to be rule follower and chose others only because of this expectation. Because the weather was only so-so, 80% of the boat use was cruising around the lake not watersports. The girls in my book club and myself had a wonderful stay! The cabin was nice and spacious and gave us plenty of space to spread out and read. The kitchen was fully equipped and allowed us to easily cook and eat in the home. The location is conveniently right off the main road and was very easy to get to. Management. Was really accommodating and allowed us to do early check-in, which was super nice! My only constructive feedback was I could not find any spare blankets in any of the closets. Also noteworthy for guests that in the winter time there is a lot of snow on the lake, so weather can easily blow snow right up to the front door and make getting inside a little tricky. But they had people out shoveling and plowing multiple times...

We had a wonderful time with our family or 5 and group of friends. We each rented separate units and it worked out perfectly up for our and socialize on the patio with the grill and high top table & adorondak chairs. Everything was well tended - gardens, patio, grills, docks and beaches. There was a big storm one of the nights we were there and the crew was out the whole next day taking the beach to make sure the guests could enjoy it. We showed up a little earlier than check in and they were very accommodating. Since our room was already cleaned, we were able to go right in.
