We called to rent a spot several months out and requested a 50 amp service for a 40 ft RV. We bought a new rv that was 44 feet, so we called 3 or 4 months prior to our reservation to make sure that our spot was big enough. We checked in (staying for 6 nights) and they put us in a 30 amp spot. The told us we could go to a 50 amp but would have to move 2 times in those 6 days or they had on spot where we would have to move on Sunday when we are leaving monday. That spot was tight for our 44 foot unit and our truck would have to go sideways and partially on the roadway, which isnt wide at all. We went and talked to manager who told us that they book sights and when you get here, no matter when you book ..you get what they have. The sites were nice but the place has a ton of mosquitos (they obviously dont spray) and we got no credit on our reservation although we book a 50 amp site long enough for our rv and truck so we could access our garage on the toy hauler. I would not recommend this place for those reasons. The camp host was nice but manager was like oh well and no compensation for us dealing with 30 amp service the whole 6 days we are here....sad! I am sure there are other places that would be more accommodating and considerate!! I gave 2 stars because pad was concrete but mosquitos were horrible due to standing water all over. Most parks we have stayed at that have this issue have someone spray to keep them down. Also, leaving us on 30 amp, when we confirmed 50 amp at booking and AGAIN WHEN WE CONFIRMED OUR SITE WAS BIG ENOUGH FOR OUR NEW TOY HAULER (44FT) WITH SOME ROOM FOR THE DECK DROP...was just WRONG!! IF YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS, KNOW THAT THEY MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU BOOK, EVEN IF YOU DO IT FAR IN ADVANCE!! HORRIBLE SERVICE FROM MANAGER! PS, you can see how close the firepit is on our rig and the other spot was even closer!!! If you have a small rv and dont care about what you get...I guess this place would be fine. I am taking my money somewhere else next time we come to this area!!!!!!!!!!! People coming for the weekend got more priority than those of us who booked almost a week and made reservations many months ago (about 6 months prior to coming here). We were told that they give you what they have when you arrive. There were spots open but we were told those are for people coming in this weekend. We are working at the local festival so moving 3 times or even the day before we leave is just ridiculous. I have NEVER EXPERIENCED this from any park we have been at, especially when you book so far in advance. If they were honest, and told us this was potentially going to happen, my reservation would have been elsewhere...and will be next time we come and any of our friends come to this area too!! I read another review about Miss Nice and Miss not nice....so obviously this is an issue!!

We stayed 8/9 to 8/11 and tent camped. We were in the C section of the campground. Very quite campground for the time we were at the campground and the restrooms were nice and clean each time we went. We came for a concert that we were attending in Noblesville which was only like a 20 min drive from this location. Nice quite campground. We even used their laundry facilities, and everything was affordable to do so. The camp store had wash and dryer sheets available to use priced at $1 each and the machines were $1.50 a piece. We did one full wash and dry load. When we put the wash load in, we went for a walk on the trails they offer from the bridge to the ariel park. There is horseback riding available (highly suggest driving to that building unless you want to walk a bit or have kids), they have the ariel park available for certain age, height and weight requirements. Also looks like for the winter they have a sledding hill with lift assists to hang onto to help get you up the hill. We drove just over 2 hours to stay here, and I would definitely come back. The river was nice especially being able to see it from our site. They do have canoe/kayak pick up area right up by the playground area as well which is under a covered shelter. The only thing that sucked was how far from the bathrooms were from our site in particular, only cause of waking up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. However, I won't fault the campground for that as I chose a random site that was available many months in advance. Overall, we were here to just sleep and shower for each day we were there, but for the time we were at the campground I enjoyed it and definitely would be back in the future. Camp store is nice as well and has several offerings from food to souvenirs to things to keep you busy.

Very nice place. Will definitely camp here again. We stayed in one of the Electric and Water Site (Site 60). This was a very spacious site, near the bathrooms, dumpsters and the boat launch. I feel this is one of the nicer spots, due to not having a neighbor on the other side. The site has a 15 and 30 amp hookup, along with water. After looking around at the other sites in the area, they do seem kinda cramped. Our neighbor on the other side only had a few feet of space and their fire pit was maybe 10 feet away from our pad. Very cramped, so I'll keep this in mind the next time we camp here. The only downsides to this particular spot is when White River Canoe Company drops off the kayaks early in the morning, it can be loud. Also, the open area next to the campsite is used by other campers or people launching boats for parking. If the people are ignorant, they'll park blocking your own campsite, so make sure you park and not give them any room. Overall, great location. Close to Noblesville and Cicero if you need to make a run for anything you may have forgotten. Very quiet and maintained grounds, bathrooms were cleaned daily.

I've had the experience of living in a tent as my home this year. This campground will only allow you to stay for 2 weeks at a time. You must leave for 48 hours before returning. There are only 6 primitive campsites for $16 a day. It doubles in price to have one electrical outlet and a spigot available. The grounds are very well kept with exceptionally clean facilities for laundry, showers, and restrooms. Free coffee and a small assortment of snacks and drinks, trinkets and souvenir type items for purchase inside the reservation office. Ask for Casper who provides awesome customer service. The campgrounds have camp hosts on duty 24/7. Joe and Julie gifted a tent to us when ours malfunctioned. Our stay there was pleasant enough or miserable enough (only one's mindset can control which) considering the circumstances for what they were when you find yourself homeless sleeping in a tent for $16 a night. Holidays seem to be very busy and reservations fill up quickly. We found ourselves without a site Memorial Day weekend. We had made arrangements to go somewhere else for a few days and made reservations for the following Monday for another week. We packed up our belongings. The camp director arranged for us to store them in a building until we were ready to leave the park. We informed her the approximate time our ride would be there. We hung out on the porch as we ate lunch and took a walk on one of the trails into Koteewi park. Upon returning a storm was approaching as two camp hosts, who had been unfriendly from day one, drove up to me to confirm my name and procee to tell me that I was to get my belongings and leave the campground immediately. He had just got off the phone with the director and the sheriff would be called to escort us off the property with a no trespass order for begging one of the other camp hosts to stay on their site. That was incorrect and did not take place. We had already made arrangements to leave and we were just waiting on our ride. It became a downpour as we loaded some of our things and agreed to pick up the rest of our things the next day. When we arrived someone would met us and I checked on our reservation for Monday. We were informed that we no longer had reservations that it had been cancelled by the campground. I asked about a refund and was told they don't refund cancellations if not cancelled two weeks prior to reservation and would have to speak with Jenny the camp director. I took initiative and spoke with Hamilton County Parks and Recreation about my experience. My comment was, "I don't want to believe that we were treated like that because we were homeless" and that $86 was a great deal of money for us to lose because the campground cancelled our reservation. We did receive our $, however, I believe there is bad energy representing Hamilton County at White...
