Read moreMy husband and I got married here at the beginning of October and I'm so sad that it's over. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone getting married. The whole experience was the most stress free and fun experience I could ask for. The entire staff are the sweetest people you could ever be around but Katie especially was amazing. She was there every step of the way and would accommodate any need that we asked for. The whole wedding party absolutely loved her and everyone else that works there. My favorite part about this venue is it doesn't feel commercialized. The staff care about your wedding and want to make it special. They don't have strict rules like other venues I've been to that want to get you in and out like nothing. The package we selected gave us breakfast the morning of and the morning after and then we paid to have lunch served the day of our wedding as well. This was the best thing. We didn't have to worry about getting everyone fed and the food is ABSOLUTELY amazing. We had late night pizza at our dance as well and so many people came up to ask who made it (answer: they make it homemade!). We will definitely be back for anniversaries or any other gathering we can have. Thank you again for everything you...
Read moreThis was the best vacation I have had in a long time! I signed up for the Taste of Fiber retreat hoping to learn to spin. I got that and so much more! The schoolhouse was delightful - history at every turn. (And the story of how Chris and Teresa made it happen is most inspiring!) My room was comfortable. They thought of everything you could want and it’s in there. The food was delicious. The store has an huge variety of items - I wanted to buy it all! Our class teachers, Julie and Jeanne, were wonderful - very patient and helpful. But the people were the highlight of it all! Rhonda was the most gracious hostess. She picked us up at the airport and showed us a few area highlights. She tended to our every need (and want) all weekend long. Chris was so generous with her time. She took the time to chat and answer a few of my questions. As I sat by the fire on my last night there, I felt the most wonderful peace. It can’t be explained. You just have to experience it. I can’t recommend this place enough. Try it! You will be delighted...
