I reserved a room at this location on 6/7/25. When I arrived, there was no desk attendant to check me in. I waited for 15 minutes and then saw the phone on the wall to call if no one was at the desk. I called and the attendant said that she would be there in a moment. She came 25 minutes later. When she came, she took my phone number and information and checked me in without apologizing for her tardiness. She said that she noticed that I stayed there previously . She then put me on the 2nd floor all the way at the end of the all in room. The bottom lock to the room wasn’t locking, but the slide lock worked. So, I locked the slide lock. About 15 minutes in my room my phone rings. I didn’t answer it, because there was a note that says you’ll be charged for all local calls even attempts. 10 minutes after that a stranger had unlocked my door and attempted to enter my room. They didn’t announce themselves or say anything. Once they learned that they couldn’t enter, they left the door cracked I open and ran out the exit door. I gathered my things and went to the front desk inform the lady what happened. She seemed unmoved and sent me to another rooms. They floor had a camera right outside of room 201, so I At least expected for her to offer to look at the camera to see who attempted to enter my room. She didn’t do such thing. I told her about my phone to my room ringing. She said that it was her checking on me. I told the that she just asked for my cell phone number and why she didn’t use that to check on me. it seems suspect to me. After moving to a different room, I was still in a state of shock and uncomfortable about staying at the hotel. So, I went to the front desk and told “MJ” that I wasn’t comfortable and will be asking for a refund and changing hotels. I switched hotels and then called to get a refund on my stay. They had to reach management to give the approval, but eventually approved the refund. I am a female and was traveling alone that weekend. I shouldn’t have to experience that type of trauma. I will NEVER book a stay at this place AGAIN. I felt like “MJ” set me up to be Robbed, because I was an out of state traveler. She gave the impression that she set the entire thing up. That’s NOT COOL! I believe that this is an ongoing occurrence that others may have experienced and no one has spoken out until now. I plan on filing a complaint with the corporate office as well. Ladies, be careful if you are one who...
Read moreWe checked in Sunday afternoon around 3pm. We dropped off our bags and went to dinner with friends. When we arrived back to our room around 8:30 pm, we discovered the remote and tv would NOT work. Not a problem right? NOT QUITE! I went to the front desk to get a new remote. The front desk area was CLOSED.||||To be fair, I had never stayed at an extended stay property before. I didn't know the laws of the land so to speak. I returned to the room and called the hotel. After a series of prompts, a female with a heavy accent answered the phone. I told her the remote wouldn't work and the tv would not turn on manually. She told me the front desk was CLOSED and I could get help tomorrow. Shocked, I asked her if she was kidding. She HUNG up on me.||||Furious, I called back from another phone. A very nice female answered. Katelyn told me we could change rooms. She instructed me to meet the on property manager at the front desk to receive new keys. The night on property manager was very nice. She gave me new keys no questions asked. Finally, a room with TV.||||As far as the property, the rooms were very basic. Found a strange hair on the toliet and a few bugs in the bathroom on the 2nd day. The room had a full size refrigerator (very clean) and a 2 burner stove (again clean). The stove light had a PINK bulb in it. Odd I thought. No lamps. Only overhead lighting.||||The patrons were quiet and no issues there. The elevator was a return to the 70's. Some of the people stay there must have marijuana cards. The elevator was a total contact high. It reeked of pot.||||If you're still planning on staying there, bring your own HAIR DRYER, SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, and ICE. They only furnish a wafer thin bar of soap. If you need clean towels, take the dirty ones to the front desk and trade them for clean.||||This property needs to take the phone away from the woman with the heavy accent. She might own the hotel but she needs to avoid contact with anyone staying there.||||I heard they are soon going to be a CHOICE hotel member soon. I would strongly advise CHOICE to send a representative there for another look.||||Perhaps, your experience will be better than...
