No trees. Got to witness a fistfight in front of my RV between some trashy group of people that proceeded to throw rocks in my direction where my dog and I stood not caring who they marked around them. Oh, and to top it off there was a big Girl Scouts gathering right next-door to me so they got to witness this.police were prompt and did show up. The showers are pretty much disgusting and were painted just like TDCJ prison, the same hardware for the showers felt like I was in prison all over again good times bathrooms nasty. Oh, and the neighbor two trailers down stayed up mightly until three or four beating his wife or girlfriend that was fun too. I think I’ll stay out of this town from now on.

Very nice campgrounds. Well maintained with clean restroom and showers. You have to pay to use showers which I thought was odd. First campground we've been to that showers weren't included in the camp fee. Overall felt safe tent camping here although we only noticed rangers patrolling once or twice a day.

The RV sites were very close together and not marked very well. Tons of people but that’s expected on a summer weekend. Restrooms and showers could have used more attention, no toilet paper in the men’s side. Sites don’t have a lot of grass, but they were well shaded.

Cool little campground, when it's early or late in the season. Gets pretty crowded in the summer so get there early in those months. Also, the crowd can be kinda rowdy in the summer so if you've got little ones I wouldn't recommend this area perhaps. Lots of memories here though throughout the years. Camp host said they open for the season on April 15th, 2022. They are closed for the winter currently, which means they just shut the gates to the camping area pretty much, she did tell us these spots are not for day use. You have to reserve a campsite even if you've got only a chair, and fishing pole. Not a day use site, wear your shoes here lots of hooks, and broken glass in places, stickers in others. Fairly priced for today's rates...

We got a nice lakeside camping spot. This area is a mix of tent only and rv spots. Our tent only spot has no electricity, and the water is shared between several sites. Luckily we had already filled out 5 gallon water jug when the rv next door hooked up to it as theirs.

Bathrooms were clean but HOT on this summer afternoon. Shower was clean. No hot water. My wife said it was too cold to stand in. (I rinsed of in the nice warm lake water 😀.)

Check in was pleasant. We went straight to our reserved spot and a camp host stopped by and checked our name against the online reservation.

She said that it would be quiet tonight, but the weekends can be a bit crazy.

Overall, nice place right...
