Mt Si Motel — Hotel in North Bend

Remember talking to a real person when making a reservation? Mt. Si Motel is a throwback to actual customer service. Call in advance and Call when they tell you to call to make reservation. Mt.SI Motel has no patience for drunk and disorderly behavior so read the fine print when you register. My husband and I were attending a film festival as actors and welcomed the attention to privacy. The room was impeccable and clean and totally updated. After a day of interviews and press it was nice to find a quiet place not far from the hustle and bustle of outdoor enthusiasts and still be very close to North Bend. We went up the road and found a nice old bridge and some trails. Your room has a window and which room you pick decides how the sunrise or sunset will hit your room. There was no air conditioning but the breeze and cool mountain air was enough to keep us comfortable. The rooms have fans and they may be a bit loud...or getting used to but adds to the obvious history of this quaint and historical film location for Twin Peaks. There are security cameras and the owners are super nice. This motel is mainly meant for couples or a single person looking for a getaway. Not meant for children. The beds are new and super comfortable. You have a fridge and a microwave which is nice if your going hiking or staying for a few days. Although we always go to Tweeds we noticed a Thai and a very nice Mexican restaurant on the way in to Town..less than a mile away. We...

Driving coast to coast across North America you get a pretty good taste of motor inns. ||Mt. Si Motel is a cut above the rest. ||Super gorgeous location, steps away from choice hikes. ||Unique and wonderful energy nestled between majestic mountains and the Snoqualmie river, with the charming town of North Bend a nice distance for walking and an easy commute to Seattle.||Attractive, comfortable, well-kept rooms, classy, elegant decor and pleasing aesthetic. ||Deep-cleaning has the room smelling fresh all week. ||Lux linens and towels perfect after a hot, nice shower in the newly-remodeled, tiled bathroom. ||The premises are quiet, safe and well-lit after dusk, and the black-out curtains are one of many nice touches for some deep purple(:||Sleep with windows open to hear the river frogs at night.||I stayed here a few months with the renovations in progress. The owners and manager couldn't be nicer people, always making sure I had a smile on my face. In fact, everyone I met here became quick friends. ||This special place felt like home to me.
