The owners are very rude and disrespectful! We went there for Memorial Day weekend and July 4th weekend. Me and my dad bought 3 sites for the long 4th weekend. On Sunday Afternoon I saw the owner arguing with a man that was leaving early and wanted a refund. She was very rude and then told me that my dog wasn't allowed in the camp store. (Which is fine but she really didn't need to have an attitude) then she returned to yelling at this man to leave now! I let this slide because it was visible she was upset. So Tuesday came around and my dad wanted to stay another week. He paid for the week no problem. Thursday he was in the camp store buying lighter fluid and the man behind the counter told him that he had "the trashiest lot he has had his he owned the place." Way to say thanks for spending almost $600 this weekend alone. Not including the 2 spots we bought for memorial weekend and the people we recommended to stay there. (3 people to be exact) that did stay there. Including one that has been there 2 months now. Needless to say we will be going elsewhere from now on. The facility is not bad. It's smaller. The pavilion looks like it could fall down but otherwise it's not bad. Just not impressed with the owners and their comments toward paying customers. It's their place so they can run it as they wish but they will not get anymore of my money.

The owner tried to justify her actions towards the man in the camp store trying to say the wife reserved the lot and wanted a refund and was told no so the husband drove all the way to the campground for a refund!! She claims she explained policy to the man and he refused to listen and had to forcefully tell him to leave for she felt unsafe on...

We camped here Friday-Sunday. We were in the newer camper area with electricity only. The campsite was clean, fire rings all looked brand new. Sites are close together, but we still felt there was privacy. These sites all back up to either a marshy area or pond. The walk to the bathrooms is not a quick 3 minutes. there are a few different trails you can take but watch out for all the golf carts. Campground seems to be overrun by the seasonal campers who race through on their golf cart. The camping area near the pool and bathrooms (there is only 1 shower/bath house) is loud and rowdy at times in the evenings but we could barely hear them from our site. The bathroom/shower was the cleanest I've seen at a campground. You can tell the owners take pride in their campground. The pool area was sparkling clean, plenty of seating available and cute toddler play tables. It's fenced off for safety and is not overrun by kids since an adult must be with them if they are under 14 (I think that was the age). The playground is clean, basketball courts look new, there is a nice sized fenced in dog area and plenty of doggie bag stations throughout. The owners were pleasant and responded immediately with our questions. The roads throughout the park are hardpacked gravel except road from our camping area to bathrooms/shower/pool, etc. This is a very nice campground with competitive...

What a disappointment. First, in their defense, the owners are new and I’m sure will eventually fix some of the issues. They don’t have sewer connections, which we knew, but when we went to empty our tanks, after disconnecting everything, closing slides, etc., we found the sewer was full and it wouldn’t be emptied until the next day. The next morning, we disconnected everything, etc., again, but it had rained overnight and we became stuck in the mud up to our wheels. They have no gravel at the sites nor the driveways inside the camp. About noon we contacted the owners for help to pull us out but they texted they were at church and would help us when they returned, in the meantime we are sinking further into the muck. They didn’t say when they’d be back so after a couple of hours we called a tow truck. The truck came about 45 minutes later still with no sign of the camp owners. After the tow truck pulled us out we decided we didn’t have much choice but to leave a day early. We figured since all the sites were the same in the pull-through section we would continue to get mired, or at least the chances were very great. I later contacted the owners to see if we could get a refund since the situation was not our fault but they would not consider this. I will not be back to this campground even if they address our...

Very nice campground near Potato Creek State Park (which was already full for the weekend I was visiting). The staff was very friendly and there were plenty of entertainment options to keep everyone happy even if I didn't have the time to take advantage of them all. The primitive campsites were nice, even if they were a bit far from the nearest restrooms. The fire pits were also a step above most other campgrounds and were appreciated. It was a bit buggy, but the state park wasn't any better, so I'd just recommend making sure to bring some bug spray when you visit.

I used to camp here when I was a kid back when it was called Beaver ridge family campground, with different owners. the new owners have kept the tradition going along strong and have only made improvements for the better. I could go on riding for days about the different amenities that they have here ,but if there was one thing to point out I would say the bathhouses; the nicest you will ever find in any campground probably in the whole country.
