I booked a stay on 8/26 for two nights. Once arriving we were assigned to room 226. We got to the room and it was not cleaned. The bed was not made and dirty towels were on the floor. We went downstairs to inform the front desk when she called the manager and then put us in room 220. We stayed the first night with no issues. The next day we left the hotel returning around 2p. Our hotel keys did not work when we tried to use them upon returning. Again I went to front desk and the man explained that the staff that changed our room keys from 226 to 220 only did it for one night instead of two. That was quickly resolved. The next morning (around 1am) we were just about to go to bed when my significant other screamed and then pointed out a bed bug that had been crawling on her. I work in in-home health care and have seen bed bugs many times unfortunately and immediately recognized it to be an adult bed bug. We quickly started to pack our belongings. While she was packing I went downstairs to inform the front desk staff. When I came downstairs the front desk staff was asleep in the back. I could hear snoring and saw shoeless feet sticking out from behind the door frame to the back room. I yelled "hello" several times and he did not wake. After about 2-3 minutes of this, I went back upstairs to help my significant other pack. We came back downstairs with our belongings and I again yelled "hello". The man woke up and I explained to him what had happened. He checked us out after being very confused and lethargic. I showed him the pictures of the bed bugs. He said the manager would call me in the morning. I have not heard from the manager and have called several times. I also have called corporate and filed a formal complaint. Mid day Monday I discovered that my credit card had been charged for an additional two nights. I called corporate and was hung up on twice after this. This is still...
Read moreUpon arrival, the lobby was nice and the clerk was friendly. Got to the room, turned on the A/C, and started unloading the car. I then noticed the parking lot was in poor condition with large cracks and holes in the pavement which made using the 3-wheeled luggage carts very difficult. After finally getting the luggage to the room, I enjoyed a hot shower with good water pressure. Except, the bathroom floor was now soaked due to a presumably incorrectly sealed shower door. I then noticed the carpet was wet by the air conditioner. Turns out, the A/C was leaking water onto the carpet. The bathroom fan didn't work, light fixtures were loose on the wall, fire sprinkler heads were not properly secure in the ceiling, the main door didn't latch properly, and that was just my room. The rest of the hotel was in poor condition with dirty carpets, broken drywall, and it smelled like marijuana smoke outside (not the hotel's fault, but if you don't like stinky weed smell, like I don't, maybe stay somewhere else). Also the parking lot was littered with trash and cigarettes and obviously not maintained.
I was there for work and was gone all day and very tired every night of my stay, and did not want the hassle of changing rooms. After mentioning these issues to the staff I was comped 20% on my last night. Hardly an effort to make things right. It's worth the stay if you're desperate, and I'm sure there's worse places to spend the night. I'll just stay somewhere...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed there this past weekend overnight Saturday to Sunday. The hotel did not warn us that they were booked full of multiple youth sports teams and the crib we reserved was simply “unavailable”, assuming they overbooked reserved cribs. The bathroom shower was gross and clearly hadnt been cleaned what looks like for weeks. Decent damage to the wall in the bathroom where pieces were lumped on the floor and crumbling further. Random groups of kids were running up and down the halls all hours of the night screaming and banging on walls. Parents were coming out of their room intoxicated and yelling at the kids. Parents were also on the phone at numerous points both yelling and loudly cussing at the children that they kept no track of. The next morning a large group took up the entire dining area so no other people could sit and eat. They ate and would not relocate, they stayed just socializing for hours while the hoard of kids ran around the tables yelling. At one point there were 6 kids playing football in the lobby, punching eachother in the genitals in the hallways and blocking access to both rooms and elevators. Horrible stay, will not visit again. Do not recommend. Word of advice, warn other guests that not only are there multiple large groups of youth sports teams booked, but that the adult:child ratio is extremely underwhelming so the children are hardly supervised all hours of the night. Would not recommend and will not...
