McMillan Ranch Yosemite — Hotel in Oakhurst

|We were fortunate to stay at the lovely McMillan Ranch when we visited Yosemite.|The ranch is situated 30 minutes away from the Southern Entrance at Yosemite so very convenient if you are visiting the National Park. The ranch is situated in a wonderful and peaceful location with absolutely stunning views of the surrounding countryside. |We stayed in the main building with 2 comfortable bedrooms and a large bathroom with a fantastic shower.|The building was surrounded by a large veranda and we very much enjoyed spending time there, watching rabbits, squirrels and even a deer family visiting. Highlight of the day was sitting on the veranda, sipping wine and watching the stunning sunset and the stars coming out.|The accommodation, which also includes a very cute mini house, was run by the lovely Daniela. She was fantastic ! Very friendly, informative and so welcoming . She is also an excellent cook! Before moving to USA, Daniela had her own bakery in Italy and we were fortunate to be able to enjoy her gorgeous dinners and puddings. We ended up having dinner on the veranda every night! I can not recommend this...

During a 3 week tour of the region, after a last minute change of plans, we were lucky enough to book this wonderful room/tiny house for a night. If you too are able to find an availability, don't hesitate!

This tiny house (room + bathroom) is separated from the main house, which gives it a lot of privacy. It is impeccable, fully equipped (fridge, coffee, snacks, oven, etc. ) and with a lot of small and well thought intentions (homemade biscuits, cutlery, microwavable brownie dough, etc.). It is located in a beautiful garden. Daniela (the hostess) was very nice and invited us to see the sunset from her garden, which was breath-taking. One of the best views of our entire trip!

Cherry on the cake, Daniela (an Italian professional baker who moved to the USA 4 years ago) also offers a delicious breakfast and dinner. Make sure you don't miss out, you definitely won't regret it.

Absolutely the best!! Cute and cozy apartment, peace and quiet away from all the crowds, but still a doable drive into Yosemite. There were goodies to greet us too... snacks, coffee, tea, bottles water. Daniella was an amazing and welcoming host, and she also provided us with an itinerary of Yosemite highlights that we could accomplish in one day. We took advantage of her offer to cook meals for us. It was so nice not having to drive anywhere to eat and wow, the meals were absolutely delicious and HUGE!! She brought everything to us when we requested it and even prepared a wonderful picnic basket lunch for our day in Yosemite. I would love to stay here again and am highly recommending it. Daniella goes out of her way to make your stay special, and the sunsets are...
