The Getaway — Hotel in Oakhurst

If you are looking for quiet weekend away, come here. There are 4 bedrooms in the main house. Each has their own bathroom. If you have a family of 4, look to stay in the cabin which is separate from the main house or the suite (one of the 4 bedrooms). We've stayed in the cabin and all the rooms except the suite. We love coming up here for the quiet tranquility the area provides. You are also about 30-45 minutes from one of Yosemite's entrance gates. Breakfast and dinner are served upon request, and excellent! The beds are comfy and perfect for any type of sleeper. Come stay anytime of year! I think we have another trip planned soon, just to unwind for a few days from the rat race of life. This is a great place to stay for one night or multiple days, depending on your plans. The owner is a really nice and caring guy who makes sure that you have everything that you need (e.g. 20 different kinds of tea, coffee and pancake syrup). Don't miss his tasty breakfast.

The location is one hour from the Yosemite park entrance. The house has a nice fair, which makes you want to spend all day on the patio or in the huge living room. Also, there is a fancy hot tub that you can use. You can park directly in front of the house. It is very calm at night and there are no bugs outside!

Amazing mountain home vibe in a beautiful setting with 2 of the most wonderful hosts I've ever met at an air BNB.
