This place was our last resort since we didn't have reservations. It's 12$ per night thats why i gave them a 2 star, but the place had no running water and we had to use porta pottys since the bathrooms were not running due to the dry weather. The older lady and man were nice, but there was a guy by the name of Rusty who was so rude and thought he was the sheriff at the campground. He threatened us due to our dog barking supposedly uncontrollably during the day time and when my husband asked uestions he got really aggressive. You can tell the man was just RACIST. We were not the only latino family he harassed, he did the same to...

The campground was very clean. The rangers are very helpful. It's big, has many spots to camp. A mile into the Yosemite Falls trail you can see a yellow tree on the left side that will take you to a beautiful spot by the river. You can go in the water and feel the stream of the waterfall. You will see also a great spot where the kids can play without worrying about the stream of the river. We love this campground it was our first family camping trip. My kids can't wait to go again! Ps. Take as much as mosquito repellant if staying overnight...

This is for sure "roughing it" camping. We drove 5 miles on dirt/bumpy gravel to get to our site. There is NO water and only porta potties. Stop at the entrance shop if you jeed anything, otherwise its an hr drive back. We stayed at site #16, we had a beautiful creek running behind our campsite. We were able to get water from the creek to put out our fire since there's heavy regulations on campfires, understandably so. We stayed early July, it gets really cold at night. The grounds had bear lockers on each site, which is helpful since it's...

Yosemite National Park has reopened all campgrounds, and reservations are now available. Yosemite National Park has fully opened all 13 campgrounds within the park, with newly opened sites providing approximately 500 reservable camping spaces for visitors. The White Wolf Campground along Tioga Road is expected to open on June 20, while Tamarack Flat Campground will open on June 23. Reservations for all campgrounds can now be made via www.recreation.gov, with the website releasing bookings for the next two weeks daily. The Yosemite Creek Campground along Tioga Road will open on July 1, with only sites 1 to 40 available initially, also offering reservations for the next two weeks. No drinking water is provided at White Wolf, Tamarack Flat, or Yosemite Creek campgrounds. For restrooms, White Wolf has portable toilets, while Tamarack Flat and Yosemite Creek have vault toilets. It is recommended to bring your own water and necessary gear. #Yosemite #NationalPark #Camping #OutdoorAdventure #Travel #Nature #Explore #Hiking #GetOutside #ReservationsOpen
