Overall, we had a good stay from the second week of May until June 17th in our fifth wheel. When we arrived, the check-in process was easy but we wish someone would have shown us our spot. It was very hard to get into the spot and if we hadn’t had help from long-term residents, we would have messed something up with our trailer as the ground is very unlevel. It was also a struggle to get out of the place when we left (fifth wheel is 41ft). The dog park when we arrived was not taken care of, overgrown grass and weeds; but after a couple days, it was finally mowed, then hadn’t been mowed again. The laundry was hit or miss on what washers/dryers were working at the time. Residents/staff were friendly. If you needed to get into the clubhouse after hours, it was available by a door code which was helpful for packages. They allow overnight guests as long as they follow the rules of the park, which was nice too. Unfortunately, I did not spend anytime at the pool but I heard great things. The wifi could be spotty but with a big resort that’s a given, it was great for a remote worker. Now this is the main issue, especially for residents that are currently working on the road. My husband and I paid monthly, and we were told to let the park know when we would be leaving and if it was mid-month that would be great. On June 17, my husbands job changed and we would need to move that day. I had gone up to the front and spoke to the very kind front desk girls, to let them know that we would be leaving that day due to work and if we could get our 13 days in rent back for the rest of the month since we wouldn’t be there. They stated they didn’t see an issue with that, they understand, it’s been done before, and would discuss with their manager. Perfect. We moved out. And would have probably stayed the rest of the month had we not been assured that we would get our $ back. A few days had gone by, so I called on June 12 asking if there was any word on getting our money back, was transferred to the manager in which she explained that “it’s in our contract that was given to you before you moved in”(upon looking, never got a contract, just the monthly rent application) that they don’t do that, and she apologized that the front desk girls are new and didn’t know what they were talking about. I asked for a credit in case we would be back due to work, and she again stated that was in our contract and not do-able. I asked if the rent could go to a long-term resident for next month, she stated they still couldn’t do that. How unfortunate if we end up back in the area for work, as this will definitely change our minds staying. At the end of the phone call, the manager stated that if we do end up coming back, she would take the taxes off the bill. Okay. I’m for certain they filled the spot up within the 13 days and are now receiving double payments for that spot, which they could have at least given the rest of the month free since they have already been paid for it. This is just a “be aware”. Other than that, the park was nice for our...

We rented a small cabin at Yosemite RV resort to join friends who brought their 5th wheel trailers up for the Thanksgiving holiday. The small cabin was a bit rough but it appeared clean and the bed was really comfy. During our first night the excitement began, I heard a wide variety of noises in the walls whenever the rather loud heater cycled off. It kept me up most of the night, but fortunately my wife is hard of hearing and had total silence with her hearing aids off. Then as the morning came the activity in the walls slowed, I dozed off. Only to be awakened by my wife’s scream. The bathroom had a pocket door and as my wife closed it to take a morning shower rodent droppings rained down from inside the wall. Not a few droppings, probably a 100 or so. A disgusting situation for sure. We cleaned it up and contacted the office to get another cabin for our second night. They told us no and they were completely booked, but asked to inspect it. A very nice guy came in and saw the droppings in the trash and that a few more droppings had come down since we swept up. He explained they have cats all over the place, but they don’t always do a good job. He radioed in asking for us to be moved and was also told they were booked. I mentioned we had seen a couple of adjacent cabins empty out that morning and he said those wouldn’t work since they needed cleaning and had bunk beds. He then offered to disinfect the old wood floor in our cabin. I told him okay, but this is really gross. He said he would try to clean up as much as he could, but they would probably have to remove paneling to solve this but he would at least disinfect and see if they would offer a discount. He later returned and while he couldn’t get us a discount (apparently $165 per night is the going rate for rodent infested sleeping quarters) he had managed to get us a different cabin, which he said was much nicer. The new cabin was a huge improvement as promised and mysteriously was surrounded by several more empty units. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, but I’ll trade that for rodent free. While the employees were all very friendly other things are hard to ignore. Be it lying about the ability to move us from a mouse infested unit, to not at least refunding our first disgusting nights stay...the management really should work on their end of the customer service...

We booked this campground in an effort to get in some pool time and to shorten our drive to Yosemite in the coming week. We have been on the road for 42 days and needed some extras! I had read the reviews. I like to make my own opinions. So here is mine.||I was completely put off the day we arrived that the bathroom did not have soap in it. I brought this to the attention of the front desk. This was taken care of immediately. The bathroom was clean and toilets flushed completely (sometimes this is a luxury!). We made our way to our campsite (#249). The site is small and there is another site right next to ours. They do not use these sites often but we only needed water and electric. We had neighbors the first night but the rest of the stay we had it all to ourselves. This means we actually had two sites to ourselves! Water was clean smelling and we had no issues with the electric. We are in shade for the majority of the afternoon also. ||We made our way to the bathhouse to grab a shower. It was less than tidy but seemed pretty clean. I did not want to walk to the office so I sent a message through their FB page. I fully expected it to be unanswered. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a message back thanking me for bringing this to their attention. Our next trip to the bathhouse proved that they do , in fact, care about their customers! They took everything I said to heart and took care of any problems immediately. I even got a call the following morning addressing the situation and apologizing. ||The pool was clean and very pleasant. Pool deck was tidy and swept clean. The game room had plenty of games and seating for multiple families. This campground was very quiet and pleasant to stay with. If we are in the area again I would stay with no hesitation.||When I think of how I will review a campground I think about customer service first. If you saw a pattern in my review it is that when you bring concerns to the attention of management things WILL be taken care of! They DO care about their customers and want to make your experience pleasant! So, if you are on the area and need a place to stay please consider...

Very misleading location details and naming convention AND worse was the cleanliness of the bathrooms and trash area. The location was over 1 1/2 hours to the falls off Yosemite... This is not very near Yosemite as the name implies. I called ahead to verify high speed Internet as was advertised on their site. I was assured that it would support video calls and it was barely enough to check the weather. Fortunately, I had a T-mobile hotspot to almost get me through my appointments. And, lastly the worst were the bathrooms and adjacent trash area. The trash was overflowing and the area was disgusting... Not cleaned in weeks/months. Trash was emptied later in the week. Bathrooms were dirty the night we arrived but not horrific. We assumed it was just the end of the day; however, the remained uncleaned for the next 5 days with toilets overflowing, same trash on the floor, mud and no soap left in dispenser. Clearly management was not verifying cleaning at any point and the staff didn't like cleaning bathrooms. We also paid over $100 per night to boot. We won't be back and encourage you to find another location where basic cleanliness is remotely important.

We take our RV here each spring before taking it out on longer trips. It's a nice and comfortable little resort and we've never had any trouble here. The bathrooms and laundry room are clean although I have to admit that I have not needed to use them All of our services have worked each time we visit and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Though much of that which they offer is simple, it is well maintained. the dog park for example is nothing more than about a half of an acre of grass with a fence around it. But it is kept mowed and there are two benches to sit while the pups run around. The swimming pool is nice and well maintained but outside of that, not a lot of amenities. The water pressure is good at each site, and power is reliable. They have cute little cabins and yurts although I have never stayed overnight in either. If you are on your way to Yosemite this is still a drive to get to the park entrance, but the trade off is that it is right on the freeway and not in the middle of a town. Easy in - easy out for your rig on highway 41 just before the little town of Coarsegold.

Great place to stay at for that weekend getaway from the city , the area is pretty big and conveniently located around 10-15 minutes away from Oakhurst ( in case you need to go to the city to pick groceries or so ) , the cabin we stayed at was really cozy and could easily fit 4 people, everything was in perfect working condition and super clean upon our arrival / check in. There is a microwave and fridge in the cabin ( but no stove so if you are planning on cooking bring your own if you have to or use the campfire pit and grill outside ). If you are coming with children the area has plenty of activities that children would enjoy - small climbing wall , lots of picnic / bbq areas , an open space area where kids can be kids , swimming pool area ( although closed due to covid ) . Relatively close to the Yosemite park entrance with plenty of other parks in the nearby area. Overall score 5/5 would definitely come back again.
