Wolf Den Run State Park — Hotel in Oakland

Visited the Wolf Den Run trail #2103 on Tuesday afternoon during vacation and had it entirely to ourselves - didn't see another vehicle at all, which was great because we could take our time. The trail has easy, mid and difficult levels, starts rocky so go in 4H. I used 4L a lot for crawling. It rained during the second portion of our excursion which added to the fun. We started easy and mid, and decided to hit the difficult/Black trails which had several tough spots. Having a guide to look out for your wheels and side rails helps. The trail goes very high, and cell service is nonexistent, so plan for that. This was my first badge of honor trail, but not first off-road experience and I really enjoyed it! We were on the multiple trails for three hours. Rangers are helpful and will provide paper maps...

Its so very very trashed up from locals dumping unwanted appliances, cars, barrels and old tires. Very sad this has not been cleaned up.
