Ocala North RV Resort is a beautiful resort in North Central FL! I would definitely recommend this resort to fellow RVers. Some amenities here include: all paved/concrete FHU sites, propane on site, a gorgeous pool, pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, bocce ball, cornhole, bingo, poker, pool tables and more! There are organized games/activities daily, and it’s great to see everyone get together and socialize. Also, they have a beautiful 1 acre dog park, and we were especially relieved to see that this park does not discriminate against breeds! The resort management/staff are welcoming and involved, and it is apparent that even through the recent changes/expansion, they are doing their best to ensure a pleasant experience for us consumers. Some of the pull-through sites are quite narrow, but they make up for it in length. I would recommend that anyone who does not need a pull-through should opt for a back-in as most of them are much wider (giving you extra space between you and your neighbors). Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this resort, especially comparing it to some other parks in the area.

This is our first time staying at Ocala North RV park and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay an extra month! We also reserved a spot for next winter. We couldn’t be happier here. There are many different sites to choose from, in a variety of sizes, locations all with a different feel that will appeal to a range of personalities. We wanted more privacy with a bit of a view, and we sure did end up with just what we wanted. Tina worked with us until we were happy. All of the staff that you will meet around the grounds are extremely friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, pool and clubhouse, Pickleball courts, and extra amenities are very clean and well cared for. The park is quiet and a peaceful place to stay, yet offers many activities for those that want to stay busy. The prices are very reasonable as well. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here in Ocala North. We are new to RVing and this staff helped us every step of the way.

Recently retired, my husband and I are snowbirds from Maine. We arrived in January and are here until May 1st. The park is beautiful with magnificent trees, especially throughout the original sites. Ocala North RV Park is located in the middle of horse country with gorgeous estates that extend for miles and miles. The park provides an outstanding attentive staff with lots to do no matter your interest. Aesthetically pleasing, throughout the park, safe and extremely clean! This is an RV park that does not discriminate against certain breeds of dogs as long as your dog is leashed and well-behaved. We have enjoyed our stay here so much that we have booked our return for December 1st. Not only is this huge park very quiet, but it attracts the nicest people!😀

ONRV Resort is no resort. Wi-Fi is weak to nonexistent throughout the park and cuts out completely several times daily, Basic cable offered without an ABC station, also frequently goes out. Currently beginning 4th week of unsafe drinking water, water must be boiled or drink bottled at our own expense No bottled water offered, nor propane reimbursement, no rent reduction. Entire park is built on sloping hills, sites are very narrow and unlevel side to side. Door sides with need from 4-12” build up which make your bottom step very high in air. Many sites flood out with rain, drainage is poor in many areas of park. ||This resort is NOT kid-friendly. While there are 5 large dog run areas, there is no play structure or playground area for kids. All kids under 18 have to be accompanied by a parent when off campsite. One 12yr old girl was reduced to tears by a female staff member as she walked quietly from pool to campsite without a parent. While kids are allowed in the pool, it is not encouraged.||Heated pool is small and crowded. There are chairs around deck area but get there early as they get ‘saved’. They also provide a large audience for twice weekly water aerobics.||Park is not gated and there is no security. All dog breeds are welcome and leash rules are not enforced. Laundry facilities are clean but beware the dog hair and worse in washers. ||Park is located alongside I-75, with truck stop on other side of freeway. Traffic noise is constant and loud. ||New owners are a corporation. Rents were raised dramatically in June of 2023 after being assured this would not happen. A nonrefundable deposit of your last month's rent is held. There has been no improvements and little maintenance of infrastructure. ||After losing many residents in January, rates were lowered for some sites for 2024-2025 season but raised even higher on others with a willy-nilly sliding scale of desirability. There is no map available to identify which site is which. They will “let you know”. In January a notice was sent out of a $15 per day, per person visitor charge. This is new.||This used to be such a pretty, well-maintained park under the previous owner. Now with fewer employees it is not kept up. Employees, whether in person or by phone are rude, unhappy, and unfriendly. It is located halfway between Ocala and Gainesville with no attractions nearby.||After several years here, we’re sad to say we’re not returning. There are many other parks in the area to...

From start to finish this is just an incredible camping experience. It starts with the friendly staff and finishes with all of the amenities, the cleanliness and the wonderful location. As with every single other review I've ever done I will provide the Pros, Cons and an Overall Impression. ||||Pros:||The warm and friendly staff set the standard. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Every single staff member we encountered was the same. Courteous, professional and friendly. ||Next is the layout of the resort and the size of the sites. You won't feel crowded at all and getting into your site is a breeze - especially since a staff member takes you right to your site and then guides you into the perfect position. ||Then there is all of the amenities. Pickleball, Tennis, a pool, biking, hiking, two dog parks (one of which is the largest we've ever seen), Boche Ball, laundry facilities, bathrooms that are OR clean. This resort literally has everything. ||Incredible social calendar. They really go out of their way to try to plan fun things to do while you are staying with them. From a craft fair to a BBQ, the list could go on and on. ||Quiet and peaceful. I mean like amazingly so. There was no loud music, no silliness going on - just everyone enjoying the peace and quiet of a wooded RV resort. ||Hook-ups - they are all full hook-up. And it's well planned out. ||Finally there is the condition of the sites - they are already in awesome condition but the owners are injecting money into new pads making them all smooth, flat, level and perfect. With lots of space for parking and enjoying the outdoors. ||||Cons:||The only con was that our water leaked at the hook-up. So did our neighbors. It's a small thing but it's annoying getting the wires wet and having to work to unhook in a puddle. They are slowly fixing them all but had not gotten to our sites yet. (105 and 106)||||Overall:||This is just outside (north) of Ocala and is perfect striking distance to either Gainesville or Ocala. It is just off of Interstate 75 with really simple access. And if you have doggoes, this is THE best place you could take them. Lots of friendly pooches, a ton of running space and lots of areas to walk them. This is our new favorite RV resort and we...
