We have stayed here the past two years. Love the site but the other campers were so disrespectful. There was a large group of five separate rv's, and their music was played so loud, I went over and asked them to turn it down. The following night (Sat) they were up until 11:30 loading everything up with their bright led construction style lights. I didn't go over because I would have probably got into a fight at this point. Then to top it off, at about 6:30am they decide to leave. Yes, all five units together.

There is a severe lack of park employees or park rangers. I know this is all condusive and fluid as to who is currently in the park but there needs to be more patrols of the "partying" or loud campers so other respectful rv'ers have a pleasurable time with...

The campground was okay, we used a screened canopy because there are some flies. There is access to the beach, which I recommend 4 wheel drive. Beware the hidden fees. I was not happy that as out of state campers we had to buy a vehicle pass for both the class c and our tow vehicle totaling $90. Any other state we have been to it was just one pass that we had to buy. Additionally make sure you have cash because you need to buy tokens for the shower! The beach and water were great, but not sure that I will be back because...

Camping fee + state fee to stay at this campground. Full hookups, with leveled sites. Poor maintained, dirty bathroom, overflowed trash bins, and too much happening with people coming and going. Felt unsafe and at arrival (6pm) our reserved site was still occupied and have to tell people that we had a reservation. 30 minutes wait for site to clear up. If you have an issue, you are given the sheriff office number. The view of the lake and white sand is incredible with ton of people camping by the lake. 20 minutes...

This was a accidental find that turned out to be amazingly significant in our trip out west. Be sure your four wheel drive is working to drive down the beach and find your spot of Nebraska paradise. This was beyond anything I thought of that existed in Nebraska. A giant wow of a surprise Oasis of fun just quietly waiting for us to stumble upon in our yearly September road trip. This place was clean and well taken care of and the beach you don't get that at unless you are sitting on a ocean beach ...

A beautiful campground with showers that run on tokens and indoor bathrooms. Be careful, there are “puncturevine (Tribulus terrestris), also known as goathead, caltrop, or tackweed”. These are horribly painful to my dog and I. Make sure to have proper footwear and be cautious where little feet and paws step. There is also a train next to this campground, that contributes to a lot of rail noise and horns. Outside of these dreaded spicy plants this campground is great.
