Nice golf course but motel is overpriced and poorly maintained. Have been going every year for the past four years but won't be back. They put us in a room that smelled like cat pee. When we went to complain they said 'yeah, that room has a toilet leak'. They moved us but why they would put anyone in that room was really weird. Plus there are dogs running all over the place but the owner rudely told me there was a no pet policy when we brought our dog. I guess only his pets are allowed. The weekend cost $652 for three nights and 36 holes of golf, and the motel quality is less than that of a Motel 6. Ridiculously overpriced. We had no hot water on two morning and everything in the room was circa 1980. They do have two nice condos but the motel is horrible. Sad that one of our favorite spots has gone so down hill and Parker has become exceptionally rude even though we were part of a...
Read moreThe kitchen and dining area were very disgusting I would not eat out of there if I were a rat! Tables looked like they hadn't been wiped down in years. Once we finally got out to the course the drink cart was just as bad, how the health department has not shut them down is outrageous! Girl on cart could not even make our drinks due to being underage and she had a very unprofessional look. The pro shop area and employees were not any better, the counter and behind were junked up and everyone seemed so confused as to what was going on. Young guy didn't care and older one cared too much! The hotel guests were loud, acted like they owned the place. I have reached out many times to speak with a manager/owner and no response, which I am not surprised by. Overall it's a great little course my husband and I enjoyed our round once we got out there but will not...
Read moreThis course hits the value sweet spot. The greens are nice, true , and tricky enough to make this course challenging due to severe undulations and multi tiered putting surfaces. The fairways were a tad fuzzy but not enough to affect a properly struck drive. The views are good, tons of new, slick houses going up on this course as well. The green fees are not astronomical, like a few other courses in this same region. Most courses have raised prices significantly over the grow the game Era, but Alta obviously knows where its bread is buttered, and I'm here for a few slices. If you're not fond of paying more than 1 bill for a round, this...
