Howdy Campers! Finally a military famcamp that MWR hasn't screwed up yet. Actually one of a hidden gem within the military famcamps nation wide. Most Air Force Only Famcamps have no online reservations systems including this one, yet the rates continue to increase annually thanks to MWR. On that note, I have discovered these past several years MWR continues raising the rates for all outdoor recreational activities and rentals. Another military benefit being trashed by MWR. Most federal, state RV parks rates are lower than military famcamps. One final noteworthy thought. The only site that is/or was ADA compliant is the Host site #29. This site is not marked indicating handicap only, as this site has a concrete patio and differs from the rest of the sites. I think the volunteer host should relocate to another site. Thanks Linda for a warm welcome! On to Omaha, Nebraska for an inside peak and review of another RV Park... Safe travels all!

The campground was clean and offered full hook ups. It's a smaller fam camp with only about 30 sites. The U- shaped park combined with the parking layout made it challenging to navigate with a larger rig. The sites are fairly level and have a picnic table. The campground is set on pond with park. Nice walkways for humans and dogs. Laundry room with 3 washers and dryers. 50¢ for each use. Bathrooms and ice maker. Library share. Mini exchange/gas station and Dominos next door. Definitely go through Gott (truck) gate if you have a large rig and don't depend on the GPS not to route you through the base to get there. Ours took us through the main gate to "get to" Gott gate - not helpful LoL and watch out for the speed bumps in the camp, they are bone rattling in a truck.

Talk about luck! I was able to get a spot because of the recent increase in gas prices and the park's "no reservations " policy. Few want to risk traveling to a destination, only ti discovery there to be no availability. I took a chance and it worked out. All hookups were working, 50 amp power was clean and constant, and the view was to die for. Although I did not fish in the stocked pond, I did enjoy the view of the ducks sunbathing. The host was accommodating and extremely knowledgeable of the area attractions. I'm definitely going back soon.

We are full time Travelers in a CLass A 36 Ft RV. THe best directions is to come in through the " Gott Gate Tinker AFB " nor known as the Commercial Gate. A very short distance to the Fam Camp. Large RV can be tight to park but the Camp Host will ask campers to move their TOADS to make it easier. Their is assigned parking by space Number for TOADS and overflow Parking for large Trucks. There are several Ponds for Fishing but you will need an Oklahoma Fishing license and fish permit from the base. Note the Bass are catch and release. Close to the AAFES Exchange and Commissary. I was surprised at the prices at the Commissary some of them were Cheaper than Walmart. Noise level from Planes very low noise from Motorcycles on the roads were irritating. Facilities: Great Laundry, Did not use the Shower or Park Bathrooms. Camp Host was Linda and her husband and they were terrific. Picnic Tabl es and Grill around the Fishing ponds and some trails to walk around. Outside the gate by the Commissary is...

The spaces are almost level, conveniently spaced, and although close, allow privacy when outside. The camp hostess and host, Linda and Mike were great. We had rv problems and Linda brought a guest, Frank and wife Linda, over to try and help us. Frank worked tirelessly and relentlessly. Another guest, Clarence, came by and he stayed with Frank and helped with brainstorming. The rv problem was not fixable so Linda and Linda brought the phone number to base lodging so we could make arrangements for us to have comfortable accommodations. Another guest offered to drive us to lodging although we decided to just drive there in the rv. So to Linda and Mike, Frank and Linda, Clarence, and the gentleman in space 17, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. My mom, sister, and I will forever be grateful for all that you did to help us. May each of...
