This campground is absolutely beautiful! I am so thankful we found it as we were driving through Omaha. The best part of the campground is the camp host in East C- Mr. Ed! We have never had a camp host greet us and introduce themselves. He checked on us and made sure we knew he was there to help if we needed anything. The bathrooms are 5 stars. They are extremely clean and well kept. Not once in 4 days did we see a piece of paper on the floor. The grounds and surrounding area is beautiful. We loved walking to the marina and doing the 6.2 mile loop. On Saturday night the campground offered bingo, live music and smores. This was a great way to get out and meet people. I highly recommend staying here. There isn't a bad campsite in the entire campground they are all perfect. Thank you Mr. Ed for all you did to make an experience wonderful.

Thank you so much for a great weekend. This campground is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the Bingo, Music and smores. It was extremely nice to sit outside and meet other campers. A huge thank you to Ed the camp host. He was unbelievable. We have never had a campground host personally introduce themselves and make sure we were all set. He is a huge assest to this campground. He takes pride in what he does and it shows. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend and absolutely beautiful campground. Just a heads up the campsite is $47 but you are charged an additional $12.87 in processing and platform fees.

Family camping using tents, air mattresses & lots of blankets; granddaughter's 10th birthday party🎂; hot dogs & hamburgers grilled for dinner; marshmallows roasted to make s'mores; chilly night but warm around the campfire. Lots of kids on the playground and a movie was shown on large screen for all to enjoy. Lots of families were there, in campers & tents. Public restrooms & showers were available on site!

When we first arrived we put our deposit into the deposit box and got set up. My initial feeling was that it is a small but clean area. However I was disappointed there is no swimming and later in the evening I was approached by someone in a van who said they lived out there and asked if I would allow them to set camp with me. However I declined as my partner was not with me at the time to confirm and it made me very nervous anyhow. The worst thing about this visit was the next day park enforcement came to ask about our deposit and apparently it was no longer in the Dropbox from the night that we had dropped it. We were treated as common criminals and had to leave because we carefully budgeted out this road trip across the country and could not afford to pay for two nights again. Now we are out $10 and will have difficulty we didn't need today. The staff member was so beyond rude and not understanding or helpful. I am left to assume that either the homeless people that hang out here or the staff themselves are thieves and we will never stay in this place again and we will make sure to warn everyone we ever speak to that goes on a road trip through this god-forsaken area to avoid this...

Beautiful, clean campground. Campsites have generous spacing between them. Well maintained showerhouse and portapotties. Will definitely camp here again....UPDATE 7/7/18: Changed from 5 stars to 3...We booked 6 days over the holiday BECAUSE fireworks are not allowed and our dogs are terrified of them. We ended up leaving 2 days early due to fireworks, huge groups of visitors at various sites, loud music and partying until around 3 am (at least 4 other campsites packed up and left by 9 am on Saturday as well for the same reasons). There is no campground host on-site to handle such issues and the police visited every day we were there but as soon as they left activities resumed and at times escalated. The showerhouse was icky and needs repairs. This is still a beautiful campground and we will probably give it another try and hope our camp neighbors are more respectful in the future and maybe by then there will be an on-site host who can ensure campground rules...
