So I'll start by saying that the only reason we stayed in the room after discovering how bad it was, is because our close friend reserved the room for us with his card and if we wouldn't have stayed and paid for it, he would have been charged. And we were here for his wedding so that wouldn't be nice at all. ||However, I'm telling you, this place isn't worth spending a dime on and our room was $90.00, for one night. ||Location: This motel (not a beautiful waterfront lodge as described) is in the back of this gross, sketchy neighborhood. You will literally think you are lost until you pull into the parking lot. Which is also the parking lot for a bar. The woman at the front desk instructed us that quiet time for the lodge begans at 10:00, however the bar will be open until 2:00 a.m. and that we will probably hear the loud people outside until that time. She wasn't kidding. ||She told us that we had a room with one of the best views, our main window looks out over the RV park next door and you can see the edge of the lake. ||The room: Disgusting. Giant brown stain on the pillow case. Another brown stain on the wash cloth. The toilet wasn't clean until we flushed it several times. We didn't get a new roll of toilet paper, but had to use the last little bit of the guests before us. ||No phone to call the front office, so you have to walk down the stairs and across the bar parking lot to ask for anything, which we did to request a hair drier and iron because they were not in the room (also there was a single bar of soap for our whole room, no shampoo or conditioner)||She gave us both items but no ironing board. She told us originally that we would have to turn the mini fridge on if we wanted to use it, I did when we first got in the room, but after about seven hours on the MAX setting, it's still like warm. ||Two friends of our also had rooms reserved for them and one said that his didn't have a fridge at all and the other said the shower fixture was held on with tape and nearly came out of the wall when he tried to turn it on. ||This place is disgusting and the staff is unprofessional. We won't ever stay here again. I'm not accustomed to 5 Star hotels or anything, but this is nothing like described and worse than even the crappiest motels I've ever stayed at....
Read moreMUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OKAY guys I'm not one to complain and I don't need much to have fun. BUT our room was horrible. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the bath tub and even then there was no warm water. The sheets were stained and dirty from the people before us, the floors were covered in dirt and we couldn't walk barefoot. The permanent residents here were so rude, ganged up on us and we called the police due to people hauling butt down the streets they laughed and we're trying to aggravate us to arrest us then start hanging out with the residents that were their friends. Everyone here is either related or friends and there was no respect for anything. You know it's not cook when you're walking by permanent residents campers and they tell their pack of dogs to "get 'em." Things went missing from our families camper site. They even had a super small plot to put their trailer on. So small they were on top of each other and had to sit five feet away from the other sites sewer hose. There are holes everywhere and while my husband and I were walking back, in the dark, to our room my husband stepped in a hole that had a bunch wood and metal in it and had to go to the emergency room and get stitches. This is definitely not a kid friendy place or a friendly place at all for that matter. Spend your money somewhere else that you can spend quality time with your family than have to worry about the...
Read moreThis place is a long term stay hotel for methamphetamine users and drug dealers. Years ago, when it was under origin owner management it wasn’t that great. Was in the area, stopped by, saw it had been painted and thought maybe new management had made improvements. Nope. Still the same disgusting filthy rooms only much worse this time. You won’t be able to sleep due to the loud noise from the bar, the loud mouth drunks in the parking lot at 2:00 in the morning and the loud bass from the drug dealer’s customers coming at all hours, day and night. A weekend stop turned into a couple of hours and we were out of here. Didn’t feel safe staying in this sleazy drug-infested “lodge” The restaurant/bar Chaserz is hardly worth getting excited over. The food is average at best, the beer and drinks are astronomically expensive and the waitstaff are a bunch of girls running around in tight shirt and shorts. We waited over 15 minutes for our drinks while we watched the waitress hanging out at the bar stuffing her face. Glad she got her food in a timely manner. The burger was dry and overcooked. This is NOT a restaurant with a family atmosphere, it’s for partiers and drunks. I wouldn’t bring children here. Unprofessional employees, long wait times for less than average food and drug users/dealers make this a place you will want to avoid...
