The Orleans Hotel is the most wonderful place! We have traveled the world and there is truly nothing like staying there. We arrived late and left early. That was absolutely no problem and we felt safe with the entry system and had excellent communication. It's like a step back in time with the ambiance and feel of the hotel. There is even a victrola and phone booth that made you feel like you were in the original hotel. We arrived late and left early. That was absolutely no problem. With updated amenities and a beautiful kitchen space that we were welcome to use, we felt welcome and there was plenty of tea for us to enjoy and a stove to cook. For our family of four, this was the perfect fit. We visited on Thanksgiving and were invited to eat whatever we liked and we're made to feel like family the entire time. The price was very fair and we were so grateful our pet was welcome. The game room was a blast and our children did not want to leave on our last day! Make sure to visit the beautiful library and Catholic Church in town. The library is reminiscent of the unique library in National Treasure. The hotel location was an easy drive to our family in Holdrege and McCook. We simply can not say enough great things about this hotel and the decor that felt like something from a Magnolia Home magazine. Our family can't wait to visit again! Thank you for making this family, who came all the way from Delaware, feel at home and safe in your lovely hotel. Truly...

The Orleans Hotel was the perfect location for a birthday party I threw that included karaoke, food and drinks! There was plenty of space and the place is gorgeous! It had everything you could think of needing including a full kitchen with lots of fridge space, an oven, air fryer, microwave, coffee maker, and best of all, an ice maker!! You could tell others thought this might not be the case because there were bags of ice in the freezer and I had thought I’d need to get some too but nope! Commercial size ice maker!! Everything was clean and felt luxurious including the corner suite that had a large bathtub with a tray to hold your drink, tablet, book whatever and bathrobes that actually fit large bodies!! The updates are noticeable with a perfect blend of modern and antique and the tv was the easiest hotel smart tv I’ve ever dealt with and connected my account quickly and easily, which was great after a full night with the kids and they slept comfortably on the pullout couch. Miki was a dream to work with and was always quick with my questions (which I asked tons). Very affordable for an event and she has options for discounts if you got more rooms for a large hotel takeover. The kids loved the basement game room and karaoke worked great in this lobby! I definitely will be...

We have stayed a few times at the hotel over the past decade as we visited family, and the cleaning, updates, and restoration the new owners have made to the hotel are amazing. The beds are very comfortable, rooms clean, and great TV and game rooms for our kids--all in such a fun retro experience. This year we also decided to reserve the hotel kitchen/dining room for the day for our family holiday dinner, and I can not say how perfect everything was. We had nearly 40 people, which the dining room accommodated easily. The kitchen had ample room, cooktops, cookware, counter space, etc., to create and layout a feast! There was space for everyone, and we had so much fun afterward playing pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, and some very competitive cards and board games (lol). Several of the younger cousins even set up their game systems to play together in the TV room before the football games came on. It was especially fun for family members who had not grown up in Orleans to discover the charm of the hotel. This will definitely be our "go-to" space for family gatherings from now on! It was such an easy experience making the reservations, and every question we had was answered within...

What service? There was no one there to check anyone in or should I say the whole time we were there. Another guest had gotten up and made coffee. The owners or any staff were never present. I was told they live out of town. No air conditioning just a fan. Shared bath was ok but no small trash can by the toilet for personal hygiene items. Lamp in our room had to be sat on the floor to reach the plug in. One handle on the faucet did not work. Crack in floor along the wall with nice big dead spider, at least it was dead. I wish I had been warned about the bed. It was almost as old as the hotel. I guess it suites the air of the age and ambience but I have a broken back with pins and rods and this metal box spring and cotton mattress was not good for me or my husband. We felt like tacos. Did not sleep well at all. Don’t think I would stay again even though it was cheap. Shawn
