I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rizzy's on the Lake in Osakis, and I must say, it's truly a hidden gem! The owners, Liz and Jeff, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The accommodations are perfect, with two cozy bedroom units, each equipped with a kitchen and living area. The amenities are top-notch, including a toaster, cookware, and even books to enjoy during your downtime. But what really sets Rizzy's apart is the location which is picturesque, serene and relaxing, their attention to detail and the abundance of recreational activities available. From cornhole and floats to kayaks and a chipping game set, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The firepit with comfortable Adirondack chairs, outside recreational seating area with a couch and dining table are the perfect spots to relax and take in the breathtaking views of the lake. And let's not forget the long dock, which provides the perfect spot to cast a line or simply enjoy the serene surroundings.

The location is absolutely perfect, especially for someone like me who's waiting to close on a home in the Alexandria area. Rizzy's on the Lake offers all the comforts of home, and then some! I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

This place is a hidden gem on Lake Osakis! It has been completely remodeled! Highlights are the comfy sofa with chase facing a huge picture window that boasts stellar views of the lake. The new deck and L shaped patio furniture set is beautiful! The outdoor eating table is high quality too. We stayed on a cold windy winter day..completely cloudy and still enjoyed the view! The beds are comfortable. The shower is hot and has great water pressure. The kitchen is well stocked. The granite counter is large for a smaller cabin. The open concept and wall of windows make the unit bright on even a cloudy day.

The owners are extremely helpful and responsive.

I can't wait to come back and sit by the fire at sunset and paddle board. I understand we can bring our speed boat too.

There are a few cute shops a distillery and restaraunts in town too.

This was a great place to stay! It was clean! They had kayaks and paddles, toys for the kids, and life jackets. The little beach area was perfect for littles and for parents to lounge in chair to watch them. It was nice the docks had ladders for the kids to get in and out of! The only negative I would really have was the cabin we were in, the shower was small and the water was either really hot or cold! It would also be nice to have like a curtain or something hanging for the bedrooms! We would definitely stay again and recommend to others! Staff was very...
