I checked in with my service animal and the front desk gave me a room. I went to get something to eat and when I came back another girl said since their was already someone in the service dog room i was going to have to leave. After I told them the laws the girl called the owners and left the phone on speaker. The owners said to get the nasty animal out of their motel and no telling how many germs it put into their motel and now they were going to have to clean the whole place due to this NASTY animal.||They mover me to a dorm room thT had 3 beds a little TV, my phone is almost as big as it was, no frig, no microwave, nothing worked in the room.their is no thermostat to control the temperature and a fan.    Read moreI am an Engineer ....managing projects all over North America so I stay in Hotels like 300+ days of the year. It’s very grueling so I was prescribed a support dog...she is trained, very small, never barks....she is a hotel dog. Never had a problem getting a room. It’s all she has known and a life saver for me....prescribed from my doctor, with written prescription. I called to book a room here and told the lady I had a prescription for a small support dog that travels with me. She immediately stated they do not take animals of any kind....emotional support or service animals. This is illegal to say the least. I am very disappointed ...I always try to support local businesses rather than corporate and was pretty excited about this lil place. I am thinking she did me a great favor by denying me. I will tell everyone I can..... not cool...

We loved that a local family owned the hotel and the lady who answered the phone was very nice but….. The hotel does not look like the pictures provided on both the outside or inside. This place is run down , stains on the chair in our room, the mattress was worn out, soft and lumpy. The towels were dry rotted , the inside of the microwave had not been cleaned in years and there were no cups for the coffee you make for yourself. It makes sense for hunters to stay here but a big no to anyone else. This place has potential but is just so worn out...
