Lake Powell Manor, LLC — Hotel in Page

We chose to stay here because it cost one-third the price of available hotels in Page. The 30-minute drive to Page was a bit of an inconvenience but not bad. Janeice, the homeowner and operator, was very friendly to work with. We were able to book a room with one queen and one twin bed, which was perfect for the 3 of us. We stayed in a basement room which had a modern walk-in shower. There were kitchens both upstairs and downstairs, and we had a pool table to enjoy during our stay as well. No TV reception, but there were DVDs we could have watched in our room if we had wanted. The big bonus to me was that each night all we had to do was look up from the parking area and we could clearly view the Milky Way; fantastic! The only downside was that there were lots of wiry spiders along the ceiling, which I had to kill nightly before I could sleep. WiFi worked great. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. We didn't cook, but we could have--everything was in the kitchen for guests to use. Another bonus was that the Paria Rimrocks Toadstool Hoodos are only 10 minutes down the road; this was well-worth the stop to hike and explore. There was also a dinosaur tracks trail close by that we didn't get time to visit. Just be prepared if you arrive after dark that the road into the property is dirt and it is VERY dark. The signs were good, however, and we had no problem finding the house. We would stay there again if in the area. I forget if there were 7 or 9 rooms available, but lots of folks were staying there. Two very sweet dogs live there as well....

We stayed here for 26 days for a job we were working on it was nice cause it was. Close too work the rooms were ok but there was so much junk down stairs where are rooms are the door to enter was full off trash wasn't very warming to come home to every night and day then I came one time and the little dog must have gotten out cause it wet potty in my room I wouldn't recommend a stay there till things were cleaned up and trying to sleep well that's a story to the people up stairs are so loud it's hard too sleep so like I said there is a lot of work to get this place in shape but it does have potential if the yard was clean and they...

This is a large family home. No TV, no hot water, and a room with kids beds and decor... family offered to let you use their kitchen... with their 10 kids + parent(S). My mistake for not reading what was NOT included -- after booking through Expedia -- if it had not been such a long trip there and I had to do over -- would have cancelled. The ice cold shower was the only extra besides the two...
