If you find yourself in Lancaster or Pageland for a couple days, this is certainly an affordable, fun, and interesting place to sleep. There is plenty of fresh food for breakfast. The banana blueberry cinnamon flapjacks are ADDICTIVE! This home has a wonderfully rich family history to go with the charm. Family members all pitched in at different times to help things run smoothly, and they are so kind and helpful.
The guest rooms upstairs are enormous, with big private baths, extra beds, seating, and room to spare. They are all cozy. For eating, there is a full size kitchen upstairs for guests with plenty of tables and a deck. Bring an eye mask if you like pitch darkness - there are security lights outside. Me, my 2 sisters & niece stayed for 2 nights, we traveled from Myrtle Beach, Loris, & South Port N.C. We stayed with Mrs Diane last yr also 5/2021 & again this yr 5/2022 for the baseball state tournaments.. we’re thinking on a girls weekend get away in July to stay again! I've stayed at a local hotel in Pageland before for family events, the bed and breakfast is far and away better than any local hotel.
We had our family Christmas occasion here, and it couldn't have been more perfect! Every room was decorated with a tree, as well as every room with meticulous Christmas decorations. Very neat home. It was originally built in the 1800's, and remodeled later.
