Just checked out after a 2 night stay for Bethel College graduation. Had a good experience overall but some drawbacks too. Pros: Easy on/off interstate location; clean rooms; decent breakfast; friendly staff Cons: staff serviced room while we were out even though there was a “do not disturb” sign on the door (what if we were asleep? In the shower?; we left laptops out and our belongings open as we didn’t expect anyone to come in); WIFI was horrible; we couldn’t get any of our multiple different devices (laptops, iPhones) to connect so had to use our personal hotspot allowance instead; Fire alarm at 7:03am Sunday morning! Come to find out someone burned toast and the fire department had to come (breakfast only started at 7am so did staff burn it?; and how can someone burn toast so badly that it can be smelled on the 3rd floor 20 minutes later?). Anyway, that ruined our planned and needed morning of sleeping in on a day when we graduation doesn’t start until 4pm and then we have a very late night flight back to...

We are sudo out of towners, my inlaws dont live far from here. We thought we would switch things up and try the hotel out.

The hotel is VERY clean. However, this is not an upscale hotel more, middle of the road. You can tell it's not associated with a chain based on little details. TP and tissues are single ply, and the continental breakfast is made in microwaves. The staff is super friendly and ready to help.

The second night of our stay was interesting, to say the least. There was a rodeo at Hartman Arena, and I think a couple associated with it had too much to drink, and a domestic disturbance broke out with lots of slamming doors and shouting at 1:45am. The sherif office was promptly called and then more banging on doors... clearly, the hotel could not have anticipated this.

Overall, it's an okay hotel. The parking lot is well lit, and I'm not concerned about security. I wouldn't be concerned about family staying here. It also has easy access to Hartman...

I wanted so badly to give this hotel 5 stars because it is new and quite clean. However, it was a hair in the shower and I found a few strands on the towels. But, overall the experience was pleasant. Candy at the front desk was SO kind, I'm glad she was the first encounter. The hotel seemed almost empty so it was VERY quiet. Breakfast was good! Anytime there's bacon 🥓 on the buffet, I'm happy. The only missing factor was a microwave in the room. Although there is one in the pantry on the first floor. Speaking of pantry it was well-stocked and the quick kiosk checkout process was convenient. I doubt if I'm ever in the area again, but if so, I'd definitely...
