When you are at Bear Paw Resort, you are home! This family resort is quiet, friendly, personable, and worth every saved fund you have put away to go on vacation with your family! You will love the view from every strategically placed cabin, the quiet atmosphere, good fishing, clean environment, playground, homemade pizza, ice cream, lodge with games and books, and free paddle boards and kayaks for enjoyment. This lodge is owned by humans who love bringing their guests joy! I hope you love your time at this amazing home away from home.

My family has been vacationing down the road at Brookside Resort since childhood. This year, we stayed at Bear Paw for the first time due to cabin availability. I am extremely pleased with my stay. Owner Doug was very welcoming and invested in ensuring his guests have the family oriented Minnesota get away they're looking for.

BEAR PAW RESORT WAS A PERFECT PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO GATHER IN JULY OF 2025!! WE HAD A GROUP OF 41 PEOPLE (FOUR GENERATIONS. ) EACH FAMILY, LARGE AND SMALL WAS COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATED IN THEIR OWN CABIN SINCE THIS RESORT OFFERS 2-4 BEDROOM VERY CLEAN CABINS, (SOME DELUXE FOR LARGER FAMILIES AND SOME EVEN HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE), EACH OVERLOOKING THE BEAUTIFUL 578 ACRE "TWO INLETS FISHING LAKE." | WE MET TOGETHER FOR OUR DINNER MEALS AND COULD EAT INSIDE WITH AIR CONDITIONING, ON THE SCREENED PORCH OR OUTSIDE ON PICNIC TABLES. THE CABINS ALL HAD FULL KITCHENS WITH EVERY APPLIANCE AND COOKING TOOL YOU COULD THINK OF NEEDING. (LAUNDRY FACILITIES TOO)| BEAR PAW RESORT OFFERS SO MANY AMENITIES, THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT, SO YOUNG, OLD AND IN BETWEEN FOUND GREAT THINGS TO DO EVERYDAY AT THE RESORT AND IN THE AREA. WE FISHED, PONTOONED, KAYAKED, AND CANOED, ENJOYING THE RESORT'S BEACHES AND THE WATER. IN THE AREA WE VISITED ITASCA STATE PARK & (THE HEADWATERS TO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER). WE FOUND HIKING AND BIKING TRAILS : ( WE HAD TWO 20 MILE BIKE TRIPS), PLUS BIKE RENTAL STORES, GOLFING, AND INTERESTING TOWNS TO EXPLORE AND GROCERY SHOP.| ON TOP OF ALL THAT, THE OWNERS AND STAFF WERE OVERLY ACCOMMODATING, WARM, AND HELPFUL. WE HAVE PLANS TO RETURN TO BEAR...

We have stayed here in the past when it was run by the previous owners, and the "new" owners have continued the tradition of making sure Bear Paw Resort doesn't disappoint. We didn't meet his wife, but Doug is very friendly and goes the extra mile to accommodate. The cabins are very clean with wonderful views of the lake. Some of the cabins are handicap accessible, and that is important for those of us that have mobility issues. Most are within steps of Two Inlets Lake and the docks. We brought our daughter, her three young daughters, our son and his spouse, and two teenaged grandsons! (My husband had the honor of teaching 2 of his granddaughters how to cast their fishing poles and how to fish while there!) There is always something to do for both the adults and kids. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, baking pans, and cooking utensils. We enjoyed cooking together, especially grilling or making breakfast outside. It was still too chilly to swim, but there were so many other things to do...even when it rained. They all loved going to the lodge to get ice cream, drinks, to buy souvenirs, or to play pool. In the evenings we would play games, sit around the campfire making smores, and have so many good laughs! It was such a fun, relaxing time with family in a...

Bear Paw was everything we hoped it would be. It was relaxed, comfortable, and the perfect size. We all had space but it felt cozy. We loved that it wasn't fancy, but that all our needs were met. The cabins were well-stocked and spacious. The grounds and surroundings were beautiful and there were a zillion things to do. All ages enjoyed the lake - fishing from the docks, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and boating. We played basketball, shuffleboard, and horseshoes and had a bocci tournament. The kids rode bikes and scooters around the circle. Golfers in our family walked across the street to the 9-hole course. Doug was fabulous. Always available to help and there just to sit and talk. We devoured his wife's and his crew's delicious pizzas and cinnamon buns. It was the ideal place for our family reunion and we're hoping to come...
