If you are considering this resort I would like to warn you of potential issues. On arrival, my wife walked to the office to check in as directed by the sign posted at the entry to the resort. We were told that the site was lakeside and would accept a 25' bumper pull camper, which it did provided that you have a vehicle with 4 wheel drive low in order to get it up the hill to the un-level site. As we were putting the camper on our site and trying to get a view to the lake, the owner came up to the site and started yelling at me because the camper was at an angle on our site. He said it must go straight back with no view of the lake. That is why we come to Minnesota, the lakes! After we straightened the camper and started getting set up, my father-in-law went down to the restroom to see signs posted stating that the showers are limited to 2 minutes and cost 50 cents. My wife also mentioned all of the signs of what to do and how to do it when visiting the office/lodge. We went to the boat launch and were meet by the owner once again and he started Screaming at us on how to back in our boat! I have been backing vehicles for 40+ years. At this point remaining calm we stopped and got out to talk to the owner and hopefully resolve issues. I tried to explain that we moved the camper at his request and matched the angle of the camper on the neighboring lot and didn't understand why the screaming. I could not get a word in as he continued to rant on. We simple said if you don't want us here, refund our deposit. They did, and we couldn't get out of there fast enough. I have never been treated with that level of rudeness and would advise avoiding this resort...
