The Lake Pateros Inn in Pateros, Washington doesn’t have high speed wi-fi as advertised. In fact I was unable to connect to wi-fi at any speed.||||We stayed in room 203 on the second floor where we couldn't connect to wifi with any of our devices. I went to the first floor office and spoke to Angela, the manager. She had me try to connect with my computer in the office. I couldn't connect. Angela said she’d reboot the router. I went with her and sat in a chair next to the router. I had a connection for two minutes. A young woman working in the office told me the lack of wi-fi connectivity has been an ongoing problem.||||Our room was spacious and clean. Both queen beds were comfortable. The outside temperature was near 100. Our room air conditioner was inadequate.||||The bathroom doorknob was falling off. Aaron, the night manager, fixed it for me. He said it was a good thing he did because I could've been locked in the bathroom.||||Masking tape that had been put around the bathroom light when the bathroom was painted had not been removed||||The bath tub is very short and very narrow. After a long motorcycle ride my buddy and I were looking forward to relaxing in the pool. When we arrived I was asked whether I had been informed that the pool was out of service, I said NO. Apparently whether booking online or by phone all guest were supposed to be informed. I booked online and they "forgot" to call. The front desk reception sincerely apologized. They even went as far as PERSONALLY paying for my buddy to rent a $25 cot to sleep in...||It would have been so much better to be informed in advance that there was no pool, or given a discount for the inconvenience...My advice is make sure you CALL in advance to confirm you have everything you need before arriving, last thing you want when on vacation is a simple thing like this to put a damper on your...
Read moreThe room smelled stale. The bath tub was filthy and had hair all over it! They said they had a pool, it was so gross with algae, slime and mold. The outdoor seating had a beautiful view, but when I went to stand back up my pants had attached themselves to a sticky substance that was all over the bench ad table. The BBQ pit was full of cigarette butts. The beds were hard as bricks. It needed vacuumed badly. After cleaning the tub we decided we would make do with the room cause I didn't want to clean another one. The room cost was $112 a night, so I was accepting at least Whoever the housekeeper may be they need supervised until they get it right. The double doors over looking the water was nice.
