Overlook Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Peninsula Township

Overlook doesn't have many reviews on the web, so I have to admit I was slightly skeptical because these days I'm so used to basing travel decisions off of online reviews. Don't be skeptical about Overlook Bed & Breakfast though - we really enjoyed our stay here. We were in town the weekend of the Cherry Fest, so downtown TC was very very bustling. I was so glad to stay on the peninsula, where things were much more low-key, and have amazing views of the bay from our room! Once we got settled we felt very at home...everything was clean, comfy and breakfast was more than substantial. If you are looking for something ritzy or modern, I would say look elsewhere, but if not, this place is perfect and much more reasonable than any of the other accommodation options nearby. My wife and I stayed here during the first week of August 2019. Chuck and Bethany were amazing hosts. They checked in to see if we had any questions about the area and to see if we needed anything. They also left us to be on our own, so they did a nice job of being available but also giving us our privacy. Each night they asked what time we would prefer to have breakfast at so that they could accommodate our schedule. Food was excellent, the room we had was very nice and spotless, and the views off of the deck were stunning. We definitely plan on staying here again...

I stayed at the Overlook B&B with my boyfriend this past weekend for 3 nights and 4 days. We had an awesome experience. The home is in great shape, the owners are most welcoming, and it was so relaxing. We had an awesome view of the bay from our room and it we were close to all the wineries on Old Mission Peninsula. We were a close 12 minute drive to Traverse City downtown. We had the opportunity to have a camp fire and grill out but we were so exhausted from hiking, biking, kayaking, and wine tripping we didn’t have the energy. Next time! We...
