We love this campground and find it to be a great use of our Thousand Trails Cabin Pass, especially in the off season when we can take full advantage of their indoor pool. #voiceeffects #thousandtrailscabinpass #budgetfamilytravel #traveltiktok #glamping #familytravel @Thousand Trails

While we are not new to camping we are new to the RV world. 2022 was the first year with our Apex nano. Because we were new and didn’t know what to expect, we waited until after we completed our 7 camping trips before we left a review. We are not fans of these Thousands Trails campgrounds so this one was going to be the last one we visited to see if we keep our membership…and spoiler alert we did not keep the membership. First is the bad site selection, we were restricted to only select the sites that were poorly leveled or awkward. There were flat, “normal” campsites that were open during our stay but I guess they are reserved for more elite members? IDK? So we picked the best of the worst sites that was open. This site can best be described as being on two levels and had a steep hill as a divider. As you can see from our picture, the camper is lower than the truck. On the other side of the truck was where the picnic table was, it was the only place we could fit it. We tried our best to light up that small steep hill to prevent people from falling but the neighbors 2 year old was playing and did ultimately trip and fall down it. Things to do outside the park include exploring downtown Lancaster and Pine View Dairy farms. The Pool was nice, store was nice, and overall, the atmosphere was nice, just wish they had better campsites.

They are certainly making improvements to this campground, but the lack of knowledge by the guest staff about open campsites and the choose your own site is an absolute DISASTER! There are residents who obviously have had their trailers there for many years and they do not like the transient guests. They are rude and unfriendly to others. Unfortunately there is a wide range of folks here and they are trying to sell this as an upscale Thousand Trails resort, but if they want it to be that way, they need to bring up the quality of clientele and service. I wish them luck, but we would stay elsewhere if we go back to this area. As a note to others, don't arrive past 10pm or they will not let you in the park. We had friends traveling to meet us and got stuck in traffic. We were told if they were not there by 10pm, they would have to camp in the parking lot. Fortunately they made it, but this could be trouble for some people. They don't clearly disclose this when booking a site.

I give this place a zero!!! I had one of the worst experiences I would say of my life thank you Circle M for that. The staff is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I took a camping vacation with my family that turned into a nightmare. We arrived to check into the campsite the night of 8/8/23. We did not make it in time to check in so they made us stay over night in the parking lot with our kids and our dog and they told us we could checkin in the morning. We had no problem with that. We then went to checkin that next morning and the assistant manager, Brenda was rude and told us we can't check in until noon. She eventually told us we could go park down by the basketball courts until 12 but if we picked a spot we will be kicked out. She stated that the member lounge would be open at 9 where we could be in the AC and use the wifi for work which never opened. We then continued to wait by the basketball courts in the truck with the AC on for the kids and dog. By about 10:30 it was getting alil hot outside so we with back up to the office and let Brenda the assistant manager that it was becoming hot could be just hook up our trailer to turn the AC she said "no rules are rules" we then continued to wait. By about 11 we went back up to the office and asked again could we just check its getting to hot to be sitting out there with the kids and dog and she seen the dog panting and she finally said we could go pick a spot. Once we picked a spot we dropped the trailer and got the kids and dog in the AC. The dog wasn't calming down so we took him to right to the hospital. The animal hospital gave him oxygen did blood work xrays everything they could do to help him and our family dog PASSED AWAY!!!!! I really can't believe he's gone he was the best dog ever!! So innocent and he had to pay for the manager having able to meet an executive decision. I'm so disappointed in Linda, Brenda and Fran for not being compassionate, humans. My family has been member for over 15 years. This family trip turned into a traumatizing memory instead of a good memory. We went into the office the next day to speak with the head manager, Linda Coterwas to let her know if the situation and how her on employeesBrenda and Fran treated the situation and she showed no compassion either she said "She doesn't understand how the dog fits into all of this". We then reached out to the regional manager and he was the only one who treated us like humans, he told us that he doesn't understand why they didn't let us check in at 9 AM when we slept in the parking and he was going to address all of them. PLEASE IF YOU'RE READING THIS AND YOU CAN RELATE OR IT TOUCHES YOU PLEASE HELP STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! PLEASE REPOST ON FACEBOOK OR ANY SOCIAL...

My wife and I have been coming here for about 10 years now, we've stayed at many different sites, but decided to go annual. We like being annual BUT the price keeps going up every year and a whole lot, but nothing has changed at the campground besides new sites that DON'T benefit anyone, just more people, more crowded, and more people speeding around the 10miles posted signs. Now the campground itself is a very nice, clean place, staff are AWESOME and helpful, has lots of amenities, there's a covered very nice miniature golf, basketball court, volleyball court, playground, store,2 pools one indoor, one outdoor, Activities center, river that runs through...kids/adults activities are kinda old and the same thing over and over ! They took out the small restaurant on site in the campground to do food trucks instead but 1- they are expensive 2- mostly gone before dinner hours 3- the same one's are here often The little restaurant that was open was great, open during dinner and activities, reasonable prices, good food. Not sure the reason they closed the restaurant but MANY of us that camp here wants it back !!! So as I said 3 years ago we payed under $4000 for an annual, the next year it went up a few hundred to $4400 now it's getting out of control and went up to $4900 for 2024 !! Way way 2 much ! When we asked why we are paying much more then other sites our answer was we have a "premium " site , BUT there are 3 other camper's in the same area as us and they only pay $4400... and we asked how and why is that but didn't get a response !!! And to top it off you still have to pay your own electric and still HAVE to maintain your TT yearly pass , another $500 ! They should use that $500 towards the annual but of course it's always about the money and this campground is NO exception! Money hungry/greed ! So this will be our last year at this campground and WILL find one in the lancaster area for a whole lot less $ , sad to leave but when everything is now way more expensive in life, camping shouldn't be going up in price as fast as circle m is ! Shame on you TT for only worrying about how fat your pockets get ! Anywho happy camping and...

Pros Indoor and outdoor pool Covered mini golf area Creek side sites Pretty campground Cons Lucky if you can get a full hook up site which means your by the water which is typically a great thing. Not the case…. Lots of tent campers….smoking pot…. Going to the bathroom in the woods because there are NO bathrooms near by except port a pots. Lots of cussing and staff drove past doing nothing! The check out time is not in anyway enforced because multiple people around us left at 430 because they wanted to spend the day at the pool???? Not cool when other people are checking in at 1 and there are no decent sites. If you have a permanent site then u have it good and most of the park is just that. I have a disability and couldn’t book any full hook ups because it stated they were full when we were staying 10 days. Funny thing is we counted at least 8 sites with full hook up every day and no one was on them. When we checked in we had to go back multiple times because the lady forgot everything… paperwork, key card, vehicles tags, etc. We were not the only ones because the 2nd trip in 2 other couples had been there for 2 days and were given a hard time like they never told anyone they were there? You can’t even enter without them letting you in so obviously they did. Sites are not monitored to how many are on them! There is a max and multiple had at least 8 in one camper not to mention the dogs running loose. Bathrooms? Well the people going to the pools didn’t need that because for an entire week families around us never went to the bathhouse because they were swimming and didn’t need to…. Straight from their mouths!! We didn’t swim for this reason. Bathrooms were very dirty and had no hooks to even hang anything. The roads are not one way and I was told they were large enough for 2 trucks and campers to go past!!! No you can’t and I even took pictures to prove it. We liked the campground but it was everything else that we didn’t so we will not be back. The nasty people can continue to stay here and we will continue to go to the quiet, clean, shady character...
