1885 Farms — Hotel in Perry Heights

Words can not explain how grateful we are that we chose 1885 farms to have our wedding! When I came across the website over a year ago, I was not even looking for our wedding venue, but the moment I saw it... I knew it was the place where I was going to say "I do" to my future husband. Right away, Audrey was very quick to answer my questions and consistently kept the same level of professionalism and attentiveness to our needs for the entire year throughout the planning process. I can not thank Audrey enough for being so on top of everything... I mean everything! From the very beginning, I felt like we were the only couple that was having a wedding there because the level of 1:1 service she gave was just that good! As I said it was a little over a year planning our wedding and the entire time, she was there to answer any questions, and calm me down when I started to get overwhelmed. When I tell you she has this wedding planning thing down to a science, it's an understatement.. her process is on point! I feel every bride should have an Audrey! LOL

We lived about two hours away from the venue, but it was worth the drive and the extra legwork to have a wedding outside of our city. We took our engagement photos there in the summer in the flower field, so it was a bonus to be able to get our engagement photos there because we used the pictures as welcome pics for our reception. We had our wedding in the fall and I know our photographers had a beautiful canvas of the entire property I can not wait to see our wedding photo, because of the beautiful backdrops and photo ops!

They offer a decor package and if you are on the fence to get it... GET IT, you will not be disappointed. They take care of EVERYTHING from the decor to the cleanup... it's a no-brainer and such an amazing service. Audrey is beyond phenomenal when it came to thinking of every single little detail. I pride myself on being an extremely organized and detail-oriented person. Audrey impressed me with her level of organization and detail, on a level that I have never seen before out of anyone other than me! LOL. When my wedding coordinator and I had the decor meeting with Audrey at the property, I walked away feeling like she had seen my vision.

We rented the property for the entire weekend we had our rehearsal dinner there the night before the wedding and the post-wedding brunch the day after. Our wedding party and parents stay with us in the house. It was so nice to have everything there with us and be part of the entire process. The house and all the accommodations were BEYOND amazing! Our guests were so impressed with how beautiful the house was, from their rooms to the pool/ hot tub, to the pond that they could fish in, to the movie theater! It was nice to share such a beautiful house with our family/friends.

I have always wanted to get married by the water, therefore the beautiful pond on the property was what initially caught my eye before we booked our wedding there. Words can not express just how blown away I was by how the ceremony, cocktail, and wedding reception turned out; it truly was my fairytale realized! Audrey was able to take the idea I had in my dream and make it a reality.. and she even managed to make it better! Not very many people can say that their wedding turned out exactly as they dreamed, but I am beyond blessed to say that mine did! From the weather to the location, to all the other small details in between, I can not imagine having our wedding anywhere else, literally.

Our wedding weekend was an entire "experience" for our family and friends; they are still talking about it and saying it was the best wedding they have ever gone to! Absolutely perfect in every way! 1885 Farms made our wedding a dream come true!!

My husband and I got married at 1885 Farms on 10/10/2025, and I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue and the team behind it! From the moment I toured this venue, we knew it was the one! It’s not just a barn, it’s a stunning, thoughtfully designed space on a gorgeous flower farm that has everything a bride (and groom) could want and more! One of the biggest selling points for us was the getting ready rooms - not just for the bride and bridesmaids, but for the groom and groomsman as well! The bridal suite made the perfect spot for me and girls to get ready the morning of, and the cowboy suite (with a golf simulator!!!) was a hit with the guys! It gave them something fun and relaxing to do while we were getting ready - a total win! And we loved it was also on the property we were staying at! Also to mention she also has a mansion on the property for you and your bridal party or other guests to stay at, making it so convenient after the wedding is over! Working with Audrey was an absolute dream! She made the planning process so smooth, even from out of state! Every question I had, no matter how big or small, she had an answer! And if she didn’t, she always helped me find one! Her calm, helpful presence was invaluable, especially when we found out my husband might not make it to our wedding due to his military duties.. (talk about stress, but Audrey helped us through that). She has been so flexible with us and is one of the best people to work with!!! And her team? Absolutely astonishing! A special shoutout to Brittany, who literally saved the day when my bustle completely broke! She helped my MOH fix with by running and grabbing safety pins! Also, right after our ceremony, Brittany came up to us with our signature drinks in hand so we could enjoy cocktail hour while taking photos! A small but incredibly thoughtful touch that meant the world to us! Everyone that worked our wedding was so thoughtful and friendly! Another absolute highlight was their decor package! Since we live out of state, I was so worried about how we’d pull off our vision from afar. But Audrey’s warehouse of decorations and the decor consult made it a breeze! She allows you to bring in your own decorations as well, which is so nice! I showed her my inspiration, and she and her decor team brought it to life better than I ever could have imagined!! I still am getting compliments about how beautiful everything was and that’s all thanks to them! If you’re getting married and considering 1885 Farms - do it!! She offers numerous spots to have your ceremony, and you can’t go wrong with any of them! If you want to have stunning photos, great service, and work with a wonderful team, and more, get married here!! It was a blast for my husband and I and all of our guests! We’ve gotten so many compliments saying our wedding was the most entertaining and fun wedding guests have been to!! I would choose this venue over and over again without hesitation! The property is stunning, the team is incredible, and the entire experience was filled with joy, care, and unforgettable memories! We are forever grateful! Working with Audrey has been the best...

If you’ve never been to 1885 Farms you need to just GO. The property feels like you are miles away from everything, even though you’re not. We were planning on having a destination wedding in Florida until we visited this location. As soon as we saw it we just knew and decided to make 1885 Farms our destination! We rented all of their accommodations for the weekend.. the main house, the farmhouse, the glamper and the honeymoon cottage and they were all fabulous! It was so wonderful having all our close friends and family right on property with us for both Friday and Saturday night. We also rented the bridal and cowboy suite to get ready in on wedding day. The bridal suite could not have been more perfect or comfortable for hair, makeup and hanging out and the only downside with the cowboy suite is that it was hard to get the guys to stop playing golf and get ready! Audrey has thought of absolutely everything and every room you walk into (even the bathrooms!) has such fun, beautiful touches that you feel like she decorated it just for you. Speaking of decorating… we paid extra to have Audrey and her staff do all of the decorating for us and let me tell you, it was worth EVERY PENNY. It made the day so much less stressful to not have to worry about setting up or staying afterwards to take everything down. Plus, we didn’t have to buy a bunch of decorations that we will never use again. They have so many decorations to choose from that I guarantee it will still feel every bit as unique and special as if you were doing it yourself…. only it will be even more awesome than you could have imagined. Trust me, Audrey has a GIFT. She also has such a calmness about her that she makes the whole process enjoyable and relaxing. She was always available to answer our questions and calm our fears and her concern for making our wedding THE BEST DAY EVER didn’t just seem genuine, it actually was. If you aren’t looking for a wedding venue but want to rent a big, beautiful house for a family vacation or a fun girls weekend, you should definitely check out the main house. We had Chef Max from Bites meal prep come to the house to cook dinner on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning and there was plenty of room for all 40 of us to hang out, eat and watch the Buckeyes game! The pool and patio area are beautiful as are the grounds. The drive to the property alone feels like you are heading somewhere magical. If you are looking for something fun and funky, try the glamper. It’s like it’s own little oasis! It even has an outdoor TV you can watch from your own hot tub. And you don’t have to be honeymooners to rent the honeymoon cottage! it is so incredibly luxurious and the one night we got to stay there was not nearly enough. I know this was a long review but this place (and Audrey) made our wedding so incredibly special and I just know she will do that for yours too. Give her a call and let her know her Norris...
