We stopped here for a week while traveling between Idaho and Wyoming. While not a large campground, it has a lot of the usual KOA facilities and amenities, with the full mix of RV, cabin, and tent sites. The campground is divided in half by the small swimming pool, which sits between the entrance and exit to the campground, and the office. We stayed in site 4 in the western half, one of the larger pull-through sites which actually exit onto the public road in front of the campground. Our site pad was gravel, with a grass lawn equipped with a picnic table and BBQ grill. The site was level, and although we didn’t have a tree next to the site we got a fair amount of morning shade from a large tree two sites over. There is a wall of small mountains to the east of the campground that makes for a late sunrise. Our section of the campground included two deluxe pull-throughs with furnished patios as well as a few back-in sites that also opened to the public road.

The middle row of RV spaces behind us was an unusual arrangement of pull-through sites, where all but one of the sites are entered via a dead end road which led into sites on both the left and right. These were smaller spaces with asphalt pads and artificial turf for the lawn. The center row of sites on the other side of the office are mostly pairs of back-in sites, with a few pull-through sites mixed in, all with gravel pads, while the sites in the front of the eastern end of the campground are all pull-throughs, where all but one point into the campground.

The office building is typical for a KOA. There is a small store area attached to the office, and bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are accessible via other exterior doors. The playground is located right behind the office, along with an adjustable basketball hoop that faces the street. The propane refill station and dumpster are adjacent to the east side of the office. East of the office is a communal area with a fire pit, yard games like cornhole, a small collection of bikes and scooters for rent, and a small shed used as a concession stand.

The grassy enclosed dog park is constructed with wire kennel panels rather than standard fencing, which was a bit odd. And a number of those panels had doors, creating several potential entrances, but one seemed to be the designated entrance. Just remember to duck your head as you enter and exit if you’re tall. The dog park is really the only open space to walk dogs within the park, and it is lit at night with some motion-triggered lights. The only overhead lighting in the park is around the office, which makes for some decent stargazing on the edges of the park.

While we were there, the campground provided generous helpings of ice cream for $5 in the evenings Thursday through Sunday, and would send text reminders about it. DIY pancakes were also available between 8am and 10am on Saturday and Sundays mornings: the pancakes were free but you were asked to provide a small donation to a local charity.

In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 80Mbps down and 20 up, so streaming video was not a problem. The best speed I got on my AT&T smartphone was 52Mbps down and 10 up.

We would stay here again if we were...

We are KOA members. We travel a lot. Most of the KOA’s are pretty nice. But Brigham City/Perry south was disgusting. Their site that they tried to give us was completely dug out like a U shape, making it impossible for us to level our trailer or even put our stairs down. We went back to the office and asked for a different slot. The girl at the counter was rude and not accommodating at all, telling us she would send her maintenance guy to show us how to park. She was not willing to give us a different spot, even though most of the RV park was open. She kept insinuating that we didn’t know how to park our trailer. We were just heading back home from spending a month traveling from Nevada, through Idaho, the whole state of Montana and back through Idaho and Utah. We have been trailer camping for 5 years, so it’s not like we didn’t know what we were doing. I finally had to stop her yammering and tell her we just wanted another spot. She was nasty and rude. Then as we drove around the park, looking for the other space, we noticed how badly everything was run down. Most of the people staying there were actually living there and the place looked like a junkyard. This is the second time we’ve stayed there. The last time was just a year ago. It has become a run down, dirty, trashy excuse for an RV park in just one year. It is NOT up to the standards of what all their other parks are for sure. Places like this make us question whether or not our membership is worth it. We found another local RV park called Golden Spike RV park that was beautiful, clean and had great level parking spots. They were more than accommodating and friendly and went out of their way to help us get there, even though there was a gas leak in the area that we were diverted by in the driving instructions. They called us and gave us all the information to get in the back way that was not closed off. And they were $20 Less expensive than our membership price with KOA. |The Brigham city KOA is a dive. Not worth staying at and their staff is….lets just say, incompetent and rude. Don’t...

When traveling last summer we experienced some issues with our RV.

We had to cancel a reservation with the KOA in Brigham City, UT. When I called I spoke with a gentleman that stated, no problem, however, I would be charged the customary $10. KOA cancellation fee. I said "ok'. Keep in mind, I cancelled 10 days in advance.

When I returned home and received my Visa statement, I noticed I had been charged $116.71 and $61.37. When I called to inquire, I spoke with an extremely rude, condescending and curt woman. When I explained to her the situation, she basically stated I was a liar. I then stated I will be forced to contact KOA corporate, she laughed out loud and said, "Go ahead, they won't do anything" and hung on me.

As a long time KOA Value Kard Rewards member, I thought surely they would help. I will admit she was correct with her statement, they did nothing and were unwilling to help. KOA corporate does not value its members when help is needed and we won't be renewing.

Next, I turned to Visa. I filed a dispute for the charges stating that they had not provided a service or product, therefore, I should be entitled to a refund. No such luck as the merchant kept refusing Visa the dispute. So at this point, I'm out of luck. I am currently posting this message to every site I can find related to RVing. If you are in the area I would suggest dealing with another RV Park. By the way, I canceled two other reservations due to the RV issues and had no problem receiving a refund.

In my opinion, drive around this place!

I wish I had more pictures of this place. It's small and full of smiley folks! The manager was more than helpful helping us get set up and loaning us his levelers because they were easier to use than ours. He got us signed up for our KOA membership, and we got a military discount. This is hands down the nicest spot we've ever had anywhere! The gravel pad we parked on was fairly level, the concrete patio we had with it was huge and the grill and swing were super nice and unexpected! The dog park is good sized with a bench and motion sensor lights. The office/store is awesome! Tons of necessities as well as gifts. In the summer they do many community types of things such as ice cream socials with all you can eat ice cream, and they're trying to put in a restaurant that will deliver right to your rig! They have a pool and a playground. It's also the most reasonably priced KOA we've stayed at. Excited to go back in the summer!

Well hello ‘practically perfect in every way’! A beautiful campground/rv park with even some cabins you can stay in! The people working there were very friendly. The sites are roomy with lots of shade trees and green grass. The pool was clean and refreshing-just what we needed after a hot day on the road. We loved the $5 all you can eat ice cream and they had a pancake breakfast that we would have enjoyed if we hadn’t had to get on the road early. We stayed in PS1 and had a grill, round table with umbrella, and wooden swing bench. (Wow! Right????) Free wifi, full hook ups, friendly guests, great little shop, clean bathrooms, nice fenced dog area. Close enough to the hwy that it didn’t add much to our travel time, yet far enough for blissfully quiet night! We will definitely stay here again when passing through. If we weren’t so far it would even be a nice place to camp for longer than a night or two! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
