Hidden Creek Campground — Hotel in Peru

We're so thankful we found Hidden Creek Campground! This is our first season camping here, and we've already decided to return next season too - and likely many more beyond that. The campground is a true hidden gem. Our family fell in love with the wooded setting, and appreciate how hard Kevin, Autumn, and team work to make it such a special and safe place for everyone here. There are fun activities planned on the weekends and wonderful amenities, like disc golf, kayaks, a camp store (with ice cream!), a swimming pool, a playground, a dog park (perfect for our pups!), and lots of trails for both hikers and golf carts to explore. We have stayed at Hidden Creek since they opened the summer of 2017. It is an amazing family resort with the best staff, some amazing amenities, great dog park, and beautiful grounds. They keep a full calendar of crafts, euchre, bands, cornhole, food trucks and even yoga. All of the other folks that camp there are so friendly and generous with each other and we have made many good friends there. The best part though, is that it’s not like camping at a state park or other private, public campground where everyone feels the need to party all night and then leave their trash laying around for someone else to clean up. This is our 4th season up at Hidden Creek Campground and it is truly our happy place! It’s our home away from home and we love everything about it! Our kids can run, explore, hike, climb, swim (either in the pond or pool), fish, catch crawl dads... you name it... and we know they are safe!! The owners and staff are always so welcoming and friendly! The shower houses are very clean, there’s always fun activities for the kids but also the adults as well.
