An outdoorsy couples paradise! We came here for our engagement weekend and the pictures are just an idea of how beautiful and charming this place truly is. So much thought in all of the decisions and amenities. One of my favorite spots was the fire pit which had plenty of pre-chopped wood and nice seating. There is also a trail behind the treehouse that goes down to the lake (about 10-15 minute walk) which is great for hammocks and relaxing. Even the bathhouse was great! If you enjoy the lake, hiking, and just being outside this is a great place for you! Also the hosts were amazing and answered all my questions and requests quickly! Can't wait to come back!

The perfect place for a getaway - the treehouse is sturdy, clean, and adorable. Lots of outlets, heat/AC, amenities like a coffee maker, tea kettle, cooking utensils. There is a fully stocked bath house with toilets, a shower, laundry and a dishwashing sink. You're a short walk to Lake Jocassee - the most pristine and peaceful place to gather your thoughts after a long week. We come back to the Jocassee Treehouse time and time again.

This was a wonderful venue for a wedding. It was a perfect match for the bride and groom and their lifestyle. Very casual, a little rustic (in the woods). Totally relaxing! It was absolutely the most enjoyable wedding I have ever attended.

Didn't dislike! Loved the privacy and all the quiet. I feel rental agency added a lot of fluff. Tree house was super cute, however, u better b in gr8 shape! Running water 100 ft away. Lake water.....bring hiking boots! Wasps, hornets n what I'm allergic 2, yellow jackets, rule that roost! They come into the loft(which is your bed) by 2am every day. I was only stung once, by the grace of God n my epi pen, prevailed! Woowooooo. Neighbors r wonderful n lake is fabulous. 1 burner stove(max burton) was taped with electrical tape w a leg missing. Silly me thought "y not" n gave it a try. Took it outside n the darn thing burst into flames! No extinguisher, but I fortunately brought 1. Another disaster averted. (Replaced it w a new untaped all legs Coleman). Oh, n when they say laundry available, they mean they r gonna wash the sheets. There's no washer/dryer. But seriously, u go here u will b getting away. Your time is what u make of it. I had a gr8 time.....Just wish I knew what I was getting in2! N by the way, don't mess w the bear cubs, they gotta Mommy! Happy treehousing, it was...
