Our five-month stay at Ivy Acres RV Park was an absolute delight. Nestled conveniently close to Greenville yet ensconced in its own serene oasis, this park provided the perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Always ready with a smile, they were incredibly helpful and accessible, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable throughout.
One of the highlights of Ivy Acres is its natural surroundings. The walking and biking trails meandering through the park, the picturesque ponds, and the nearby river and creeks offered endless opportunities for exploration and relaxation. It truly felt like a retreat into nature, right at our doorstep.
The park's location is also worth highlighting. While it's just a short drive away from downtown Greenville—a city brimming with charm and attractions—the park itself is situated off a recently repaved two-lane road, making access easy and convenient. Moreover, its proximity to I85 adds to its accessibility without compromising its peaceful ambiance.
While the park is generally quiet, it's worth noting that there is some noise from the nearby interstate during morning and evening commute times. However, this didn't detract significantly from our overall experience.
Another aspect we appreciated was the park's policy of being adult-only. This contributed to a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the surroundings.
In summary, Ivy Acres RV Park exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a long-term retreat or a short-term escape close to Greenville, this park offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful haven amidst the hustle and bustle of...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this hidden gem as we were passing through the area for just one night. Our plans had changed so we had no advance reservations and we were trying to find a place for one night of a holiday weekend. We searched all our normal KOAs and a few others and no one had space. After hitting up google a little more we came across this wonderful place! The staff on the phone was very helpful and friendly. The property is HUGE! There are tons of open grassy fields and some hiking trails that run along a river. We really enjoyed sitting in the swing under the big oak tree! The park is very well maintained and although there are long term residents everything seems very nice and tidy. Our spot was a nice level gravel pull through. The price was under$40 which was amazing! We didn't try the wifi so I'm not sure how that works. My only negative was with all the open property they did not have an off leash area for the dog. We would have loved to play ball in the open fields, or let our well trained dog of leash on the hiking trail but it is strictly prohibited. Other than that, we Ansley lived this place and will add it to our list of great...
Read moreIvy Acres was such a relief:) A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I thought we'd check out the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville S.C. So we pulled out our Good Sam's Directory to find a place to stay with our RV for a few days. When we pulled up to the park listed in the book we were creeped out and major disappointed. Apparently just anyone who pays the fees to Good Sams can get their name in their book. Anyway, we decided to see if there were any nicer and (safer) parks in the area surrounding Greenville and came across a listing for Ivy Acres. It is a beautiful park on a meadow, within close hiking distance of a river , small stream, and beautifully wooded area. I uploaded a few images to Google images to share. I also like the fact that they had a separate area for visiting RV travelers, as opposed to squeezing them in between permanent RV and mobile home tenants. The gentleman that took our registration was also very pleasant and helpful. I think Ivy Acres is likely the nicest RV Park in the Greenville area. BTW, I think Greenville is probably the most beautiful area we have ever visited, so I would highly recommend...
