My recent stay at King’s Lodge in the Smoky Mountains was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality that only true southern charm can provide. Ms. Erin and Mr. David, the owners of this beautiful lodge, made us feel like family. Their genuine kindness and attention to detail truly elevated our entire experience.

Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, the views are absolutely breathtaking—rolling hills, lush greenery, and misty mountain peaks in the distance. The sprawling lawns surrounding the lodge give it a sense of tranquility, and I found myself wandering the property, taking in the beauty of the landscape.

As an animal lover, one of the highlights of my stay was meeting the farm animals. There’s something so peaceful and grounding about spending time with the goats, chickens, pigs and horses that roam the property. Ms. Erin, Mr. David, uncle Maynard and family have created a charming farm atmosphere that’s perfect for guests who want to experience a little slice of rural Tennessee.

But what truly sets King’s Lodge apart is the hospitality. Mrs. Erin and Mr. David went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. They were always available to share recommendations for local activities, places to eat, and hidden gems in the Smoky Mountains.

This place will always hold a special place in our hearts. This beautiful location was the perfect place for our intimate wedding and guests to stay at! The beautiful scenery, pavilion, hot tub, porches, and indoor decor was just perfect. This place was everything we wanted and pictured for our wedding trip! The owners are so attentive, kind, and found every way they could to make our stay comfortable and running smoothly. They were watching weather to help us plan set up for our big day, they even offered us a beautiful arch to use for our ceremony! And our rental came with the use of tables, chairs, and table linens! They had fresh flowers waiting for us and some amazing soaps and candy! They truly went above and beyond. The only thing I could think of during our stay was flooding in the bathrooms. There was a lot of rain and the pluming in the toilets and showers could not keep up. The owners came over and worked hard on resolving the issue for us, and offered us additional accommodations at their farmhouse to ensure we had showers and bathrooms to use. This was totally out of their control, but we greatly appreciated them providing additional resources while working on the pluming! We will defintley be back for...

I had my wedding here and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning Erin was extremely kind and helpful. We wanted a tiny wedding and she was willing to work out a custom quote for renting the property for the day based on our small number of people. Below are a few reasons you should consider this venue.

The views are breathtaking. We had such gorgeous scenery for the ceremony it makes it easy as you won’t even need decorations hardly! The lodge makes it SO easy! We used this space as an area for myself to get ready and some of our guests as well. There is a full service kitchen which makes it easy for storing and heating up food for the dinner. Unfortunately, we had horrible storms on our wedding day so it was nice that the lodge has enough space that we were able to move everyone inside during the bad weather. They offer so many things for your day including options of different arbors, table linens, and more. Erin is very helpful! She was always willing to answer my questions and did so in a kind manner.
