Smoky Mountains Lodge — Hotel in Pigeon Forge

We absolutely loved Smoky Mountains Lodge! The moment we arrived we felt more relaxed as everything needed to provide an amazing experience seemed to have been thought of. Solo mom of four boys ranging from 10-22 it’s not always easy to entertain them all but there was something for everyone. We had lots of plans for Dollywood and Anakeesta but we all agreed being at the cabin was the best and ditched most of our plans. The kids loved the arcade games and Learning to play pool and foosball. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and cozy fireplace. The views were breathtaking and the porch bed swing was a hit for all of us. An extra highlight was watching two bear cubs and their mamma play on the lawn from a safe distance. We have traveled all over the country and all of us agreed this was one of our favorite vacations! We absolutely loved this cabin! Set up in such a way that we were spread out enough, but could still come together to play board games at kitchen and enjoy the game room together. On our last day we finally had the chance to enjoy the hot tub. After hiking a LOT the day before, it helped our achy muscles. The kitchen was definitely well-equipped. Comfortable furniture, both inside and out, including the beds in all three main bedrooms. Quiet with a spectacular view. This cabin is a wonderful place to get away from a busy life. It has a great view, clean and spacious rooms. Well fitted with entertainment from pool tables to arcade games and a popcorn machine. The hot tub is always welcome in the cooler days and if you’re lucky, you’ll see a hummingbird or two in the mornings while the clouds roll into the mountains. Sitting at the fireplace at night is not something you think you’d miss until you’re gone. I love this place, I have been here twice and coming back...
