Curwensville Lake Recreation — Hotel in Pike Township

This would of been an awesome weekend camping trip besides they overbooked their electric camp sites & we dealt with a nasty rude woman the whole entire time we were setting up 7-3-20 saying she'd booked the entire lot "a year ago" for her family, all with huge campers, she didn't stop complaining until the family beside us were told to leave to make room for another camper which no one else ever did come from her party to that spot? 🙄 due to switching hands we understood the confusion and still had a fairly nice stay? We were refunded our 60$ also & permitted to stay? They need to place a bathhouse closer to the beach & camping locations so you don't necessarily have to drive at nights to go shower...

Fee to enter the park. Road not maintained during the winter. Gate at the bottom usually locked, cutting off large portion of parking. There can be some really great migrating waterfowl resting on the water. There are some nice hiking full of wildflowers in the spring. I love it here the lake has an unlimited horsepower for the boats, but you never have a problem with other boaters. Most of the boats are pontoon boats. People go here for picnics, lay on the beach, swim fish. The fishing here is great, there is more than enough room here for everyone. They have a camping area.
