White Pine Resort — Hotel in Pinedale

Robyn and the wonderful staff at White Pine made my wedding day perfect. When I first talked to Robyn on the phone it was obvious that she has a passion for people and a passion for love. She offered services that are above and beyond what you would expect from a venue. During my wedding planning Robyn was so professional and helpful, I did not have a clue where to start and she acted as a wedding planner and a friend. With her provided Vendor list as well as her suggestions I was able to make the wedding of my dreams happen without a hitch. Every step of the planning process Robyn helped me with and that was amazing. I mentioned that I was interested in the Geode cakes and she took the time to find me 4-5 vendors that could accommodate my request even though she has a great chef on staff. I ultimately went with her chef Sharon and was not disappointed. We had a wonderful meal and our cake turned out so perfect my family is still raving about the coconut cake with passion fruit curd. They provided gluten free options as well as lactose free to my guest that needed it. The childrens table was well thought out and pleased many rowdy kids! White Pine was very flexible with the menu for our reception and affordable. Our guests raved about the food and they way they felt taken care of by Robyn and her staff. Above and beyond my expectations!!! . Allen was wonderful at the bar and we were impressed that they made sure that all the guests were taken care of, they even came down from the bar to serve people!!!! WOW! I cannot rave enough about how gorgeous the property was and the extra time that was put into making it look perfect for our day. You have so many beautiful back drops to choose from. They take care of every detail you just have to show up and decorate the already beautiful lodge... It was so easy! While Decorating Robyn was right there and very helpful with suggestions and help guiding families and children so that I could just focus on what needed to be finished. We stayed at their cabins that they have available and it was stunning, the perfect place for a bride to get ready! They have tons of affordable options for your guests to stay and it turns it into a perfect vacation for your family and friends. We will be back for sure as well as our families for any event that we want to have. When you get married you get so caught up in details and you worry about making things just right and so they represent you and your spouse. Robyn and Allen care just as much about making your day represent you. They take time to get to know you and really genuinely want to help you. With the mountain as your back drop and great people in your corner White Pine should be your choice for any event. There was nothing more special than feeling loved and taken care of at White Pine, I will never ever forget how great my day was and how wonderful the people involved were in making it that way.

I am so thankful that White Pines Ski Area was recommended to us. I am a 64 year old brand new skier, and I have felt welcome and supported by all of the staff at White Pines. They were wonderful about helping me get skis and then were attentive and slowed down the lifts for me, so I’d feel comfortable getting on and off the lifts.

If you are looking for a nice place to take your family skiing, this is the place. There are ski runs for all abilities. I witnessed many families with young children who were skiing as a family.

As a brand new skier, I felt it was important to take some skiing lessons. They matched me with a wonderful instructor, John, who was patient and encouraging. He helped me to believe that I could actually make it down the run.

They advertise that there are never wait lines for their lifts, and my husband and I found that to be true. Although there were many people skiing, it is still a smaller ski area where you have room to ski and friendly people to help.

I am in my 30's and had never skied or done anything close to skiing. Laura gave me a private lesson and I had to have been one of her harder pupils. She was awesome! After trying several different strategies and giving me 87 different analogies of how to do it...I slowly, slowly caught on. I really appreciated her not giving up on me. By the end I could get on and off the lift just fine by myself and could ski without harming myself or anyone else, which was a big accomplishment considering my beginnings.
