The Lucky Lure — Hotel in Pittsburg

If I could give this place a 0 , I would. Peggy the owner does not know nothing about running a business. I am a concrete guy, We had a job in the area, We stayed there 8 days. I was constantly getting calls from her about our trucks, why we didn't leave a tips for the cleaning lady's etc. etc. The big issue is, I would let her know some of my other venders are asking about a place to stay, I tell them this is the closes place from job site, I let Peggy know also if a new tenant looking for a place like me. low and behold I've got a bill for 25 days of staying there when I and my concrete crew only stayed 8 days. So my venders tell her . ( oh we with Damon ) She adds all these other crews to my bill without my permission. Then wants me to pay the bill and as she said ( Collect from them ) DO NOT STAY HERE , I am Sueing this place for several different reasons , Slander, Unauthorized tenant lease, Lose income, AGAIN WORSE PLACE . TO STAY AT EVER. I Wouldn't stay here if it was FREE.. What goes around comes around Peggy. HERE...

My Lucky Lure Stay: Excellent experiences every time we ve stayed at the properties of the Lucky Lure. The most recent was the cozy lakeside home on Bob Sandlin. The home was 4 BR 2 full bathrooms , cozy beds, kitchen well stocked, very comfortable!! The lot was quite, large, great boat dock with pier, boat house, kayaks, BQ grill and wonderful covered back porch viewing the lake. A plus was a very nice W/D & all nice appliances AND large flat screen wall TVs and WiFi..Great 9 day stay! The other property we moved over to for another 9 days to enjoy is an adorable cabin; cozy, quite, also well stocked everything you could want plus big screen flat wall TVs and WiFi!. It is a comfortable one bedroom with additional loft. We always check with Peggy first for a place to stay when working in Pittsburg, TX. Peggy is always a phone call away. The owners Peggy & Chad are wonderful! They made our stay amazing. This is our 2nd time staying with them. The "cabins" are a beautiful trailer house but you have the feel of cabins in the woods, & the care of a hotel. This time we stayed at the Lakehouse in Scroggins. My husband & I had a great time. We had a big cabin this time that sleep 8. There's 2 kayak''s, life jackets, a paddle boat, bbq pit, & a fire pit. We didn't need to bring anything except our clothes & food. My husband fished off the pier every night & caught lots of fish. The last night we were there he caught a 44lb. Blue Catfish for his birthday! Shaua their housekeeper was available to bring us anything we might need if we ran out of anything. She's a wonderful lady & brought the stuff the same day.
