During our extended weekend stay at the Inn at Water's Edge in Vermont, we experienced nothing short of perfection. We were there to celebrate a truly special occasion – my daughter’s wedding – and the Inn provided the ideal setting for such a memorable event.||||From the moment we arrived, Joel, the owner and host, welcomed us with warmth and graciousness that made us feel right at home. His attention to detail and genuine care for his guests set the tone for an exceptional stay. Joel’s dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly was evident throughout the weekend. He effortlessly balanced being a consummate professional and a friendly presence, which added a personal touch to the experience.||||A special mention must go to Mitch, the chef, whose culinary talents left us in awe. Every meal was a masterpiece, from the perfectly prepared breakfasts to the elegant dinners. Mitch’s creativity and passion for cooking shone through in every dish, each one thoughtfully crafted with fresh, local ingredients. The food was so incredible that it became one of the highlights of our weekend.||||The Inn itself is a gem – charming, cozy, and immaculately maintained. The picturesque surroundings of Vermont provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding, with stunning views that added to the beauty of the event. The staff’s attention to detail, from the impeccably clean rooms to the seamless coordination of the wedding day, ensured that everything was flawless.||||This was not just a stay; it was an unforgettable experience. Joel, Connie and Mitch, along with the entire team at the Inn at Water’s Edge, went above and beyond to make my daughter’s wedding weekend extraordinary. Read moreThe inn is amazing and the owners are extremely gifted and I want to go back! From the first time we arrived at the inn, we were greeted with kindness and hospitality. The inn is beautiful and meets the needs of all traveling guests. We were traveling with a large group of family members so we took up every room. The inn allows for as much family time as we wanted with a big open space to congregate, play games, eat snacks, and spend quality time together. The inn also features little private spots to step away from the family for some alone time. The physical aesthetic of the inn is wonderful, but you can see that from the picture. What you can't see from the pictures are the very talented team that runs the place. Joel and Mitch are truly what sets this inn apart from others! Joel made everyone feel welcome and was so accommodating. He has a natural ability to connect with people and ensured that we had a great time....now on to the food! I have never tasted food as good as the food that Mitch prepared for us. He is a master in the kitchen and we reaped the benefits of his tasty food all weekend. ||We enjoyed making smores by the lake, kayaking, playing scrabble, sitting by the fireplace, playing darts, and many other activities. We kept saying all weekend that it is hard to put our experience into words because it was so wonderful. I hope this review will encourage others to book a weekend at the inn. I promise you will not regret it. We can't...
