The cabin was terrible My 10-year-old son slept on the top bunk and my seven-year-old daughter slept on the bottom bunk my 10-year-old wound up falling off of the top bunk because there is no extra security that stops them if they go to rollover there is two bars and it stops at The end of the mattress so for a kid to roll around there is no security to Keep them safe. On the website, it post that they have mini golf. It was not accessible to us. We were not able to go and play the whole three days that we were there. There was nothing to do but the beach on the website it shows all kinds of stuff but there was nothing accessible!!!!There was two pools, but neither one of them was open. The beach was nice. It was clean on the beach, but the water is very dirty. My kids went in it, but I did not. Did not want to ruin my son‘s birthday, so I let them have fun. While we were there, the power went out on us for about six hours. They did not give us updates or accommodations. I went and tried to talk to the front and they said they don’t know anything. I wound up, finding out that the power went out because of the storm. One of the people who lives in there is the one who I talk to, and let us know about what was going on. There is no telling how many of the trailers live there because it is more like a trailer park than a campground. it was by far the worst experience that I’ve ever had camping and I love camping and being in nature, there is nowhere to take a hike or anything like that surrounding the campground is cornfields. There are so many people driving golf carts that it’s unsafe for kids also we went to the The beach to let our kids play, and by the time we came back our wood that we bought and had inside of our fire pit was Taken, I talked to one of the employees they said they would send security to see what they can do and they did not I would not recommend anybody to go here. It is the worst place ever. It is more like a trailer park than a...

I'll start with we love coming to this place. We got here on the 1st of August 2025. Rented a cabin and have my mother's rv which she is a widow and I have to drive rv for her . Checked in everything went well. We have 10 of us with 1 infant. Kids and grand kids all excited for fishing and swimming and activities. To save money we we are renting gulf cart on the 2nd so we have a truck only to get to area to do stuff. We got here around 2ish and was escorted to are site and wife was to cabin. The gentleman showed site and stayed till we were set up. Said hi to neighbors across and next to us. There are all together. We were here till 8ish. I took kids to beach and wife, sister and mother were at campsite making chicken on grill. The people around us had more people come and they were nice but others were saying we're in there spot saying we have to move now.mother was scared and wife walked to lake saying we're have to move now. So I had my son's watch younger kids and went to office they called security up there then told me to go back to site and discuss it there. Went back and they told mother to move it now to spot next. Went back to office and just said they talked to mother and told her move it. I had to get kids from beach and my mother moved it on her own nervously while the party had all kids on chairs alone the road making her even more nervous instead of helping her. Kids were tired and didn't even eat the food because it wasn't cooked. Most of my reviews are good. Just think they could of said something when we're pulled in the fist time instead of waiting. If we didn't get and escorted to site I would of said it's my fault. With all we spent on food I think we should be compensated something for the inconvenience then i would...

I just want to say, I think that if you’re going to make the helicopter drop a big factor in the spooktacular event, that it needs to be handled differently… my 3 year old was so excited, he watched the helicopter drop the candy and you could see him smiling from ear to ear. The horn went off and he went to run, was trampled by adults and still kept trying to get candy. By the time he got anywhere near anything it was all gone. Mind you this was with the help of 2 adults. My poor son looked up at me with one candy in his bucket and cried. We had to take him and buy candy in the ranger store. I cried too, because how upsetting is it as a child, 3 years old to leave with a singular piece of candy, after being excited all day for this drop. Sure donations are helpful but I’m sure more candy could have been added with the amount of campers expected… Please keep this in mind moving forward. It may or may not be something he’ll remember, but I’ll forever remember to look on my son’s face. On the other hand, this place is not well kept. Trash everywhere, lots that look like they haven’t been touched in years.. like the lot for “The Andersons” that camper looks like it’s about to fall over. Bathrooms always dirty despite being “closed for cleaning” multiple times a day. Whoever was dressed up as Snow White had no business yelling at the staff the way she did, I almost said something myself, and the girl she yelled at was training. You’re lucky you keep staff talking to them like that. If you have 129,130, etc that whole cul de sac, be prepared for the noisy highway next to you.

You also need a golf cart here, trying to drive a car was horrible with the amount of walkers, and golf carts...

Guess we should have read more reviews and studdied the pictures. This is NOT you regular jellystone. 90% of the place is permanent residents. It's not like a trailer park but more a lake vacation yacht club trailer park. They have tons to do and it is clean, but it's a little weird. We stayed for a week while I was working in the area and the residents were all friendly, there are some run down sites but for the most part yards were well kept and most people had tons of money in improving their sites. But here is the rub. as an outsider there are not enough bath houses, Because all the sites are built up like homes with fences and landscaping and porches and sheds...I can't let my little ones walk to the bath house by themselves, its 5 blocks away and there is 0 chance of seeing them like in a normal campground. Because it is huge there is far to much golf cart traffic, yes they cruise with their music blaring at all hours of the night. It's like a beach party 100% of the time. If their refund policy didn't suck my wife asked to leave the 2nd day and find something else. Also they only give 1 hour of wifi a day or you have to pay. This is awesome with 4 kids and their devices. We travel alot and go to lots of jellystones. While this one is unique we won't be back.

I will admit i was very nervous about our stay here after reading reviews. I booked our site about a month in advance and didn't read reviews until the night before we were heading out. Let's just say, I'm glad I didn't read them beforehand. The only complaint we have is the small spacing. It is a tight squeeze in most spots, which is the only reason i give it 4 out of 5 stars. We stayed from Sunday the 15th to Wednesday the 18th. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and sweet, especially at the ranger station. Even the teenagers working the pool and ice cream stand. The ice cream was amazing, especially the ice-cream nachos, aka waffle chips. We did every activity they had to offer, some even twice, plus using the tennis courts to play some pickle ball. I will agree that 90% of the park is permanent residents, but they were all so friendly and welcoming when we ran into them.

Yogi Bear is my happy place lol. There is something to do for everyone. There are 2 pools with kiddy pools one pool is heated and one isn't. There are people on golf carts everywhere all in great moods and tons of activities to do (dances, Bingo, limbo, Elvis Presley impersonators 😂) you have to be 14 years old to drive a golf cart, everyone is friendly and having a great time OH and you can drink by the pool!! Tons of places to walk and explore, lots of pretty lights and trees oh and they have a ranger station where you can get cheap candy, chips, drinks, bug spray or other camp stuff you may need. They also have arcades and Pavilions and places you can take pictures with your kids. It's a great time- you won't be disappointed!
