This was the best girls getaway ever! 3 friends and I rented the Wits End cabin this weekend and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. All of us used to float down the Spring River in our younger days but no longer wanted the wild party environment or crowds. This property offered gorgeous grounds, privacy, and an incredible value with the included kayaks/canoes and tubes available for use at no extra cost, as well as bc the golf cart that each cabin comes with that you can drive around the grounds to your heart's content. We didn't have to leave the property as we brought all food and drinks we needed. Be aware that the location is in a dry county, so buy alcohol in cans in advance. Also there Is NO cell service for certain carriers but there is wifi that gets kinda slow at nite. Did I mention how friendly and attentive the owners were? So sweet and helpful without being intrusive. All in all this was a great experience. I will most definitely return one day and in the meantime I will refer my friends to this...

We had a wonderful weekend at the firefly! The staff came by shortly after we arrived to check on us. She switched our cart with another cabin because there were 3 of us, offered more blankets, etc. Very accommodating! The tub on the porch is great! It has a view of the sky at night without limbs blocking the stars. The rocks.... Loved all of the rocks! The futon in the cabin would not be a comfortable sleep for anyone except small kids. I called ahead and asked if a twin, inflatable matters would fit and was told it was unlikely. Well, it fit and it's a big twin! And still room to move around. So, if you're taking anyone old enough to know comfy, there is room for a twin! My only complaint is that, although the floors were swept, they were not mopped. I always remove my shoes indoors, not everyone does, and the floor was gritty when I walked in. Everything else seemed perfectly clean. I assume it was...

Our family of 4 has been looking for a place like this!!! We absolutely loved our stay. Very much worth the 8 hr drive. |We stayed in the Canebrake. Extremely clean and taken care of.!!!!|The owners are absolutely amazing. They think of the Big and small things. |Having a golf cart and kayaks provided was awesome! The River was up little bit so we didn’t venture out in the main flow. We stuck to the cove area. First time on kayaks and canoe and we all found out we love it!|We plan to go back soon. |For a couples only retreat. Oh yes!!||Bring all your food and drinks and anything else you might need. You will not want to leave. Excellent place to relax!!!|Do remember you are in the woods SO there is bugs and animals. Bring your bug...

Stayed in the tree house cottage (FireFly) with our two kids and dog, we had a great time! It was very relaxing at the cottage and while exploring the grounds. Canoed two days in a row and the fresh, cool, spring-fed 64°/65° water felt great on 90°+ days. Sat in the water at the end, off the shore, it was very refreshing! My favorite part about the place is that it's something different, with four cottages on the property you're not in a tourist trap, and the river hardly has anyone on it, you'll feel like you're away from things. Owners are great people too! We'll definitely be back!

This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. My family of 4 enjoyed every moment. The river was great to canoe or kayak down. The gravel bar area was nice to relax by the river. We enjoyed riding around on the golf cart exploring. Playing corn hole and swinging on the tree swings were some of our favorite things. The fire pit was perfect to relax by at night.

We love this remote place. The hosts are wonderful! Each cottage has their own personal golf cart, so you can go exploring. Each cottage is unique. We stayed in the Sweet Adeline, an old remodeled paddle boat. Watching the beautiful sunsets, the soaking tubs, driving the golf cart around, and sitting around the firepit are some of our favorite things to do!
