We purchased our first TT and headed to Trinity River RV Park & Cabins. We live just South of Houston, and wanted to go somewhere within a two hour drive of home; being we were hauling our camper for the first time. We are a family of four, travelling with two dogs. When we arrived, we pulled through the gate, and travelled down a long dirt road that opened up to paradise! My husband got us all set up for the first time, and we enjoyed all that was offered. We rowed around the lake in a John boat, kayaks, and paddle boards. My in-laws came up the next day and Bill had no problem adding them to our reservation. He even invited our two children to help him feed the longhorns on the property! We rented a golf cart to get around, through our lines in for fishing, explored trails, and went out at night to see if we could spot any bullfrogs with our spotlights, and we did! There were deer, rabbit and birds, and fish. When extending our awning for shade, we noticed a manufacturer defect. In the welcome packet, my husband read that Bill owns one of the largest RV parts supply warehouses in Texas, so we called him over. He didn't have the part there at his home, so he went to the hardware store and purchased the part for us, then came with a ladder, drill and the part we needed so that it could be fixed for our ride home. Bill went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful. We would love to come back and visit as we made so many memories camping here for the first time. If you forget something or want to go out to eat during your stay, grocery stores and restaurants are within 2 miles of the campground, but you'd never know it staying there - you are surrounded by tall trees and feel as though you're in the middle of nowhere. Thank you so very much Bill! We will cherish the memories we made and can't wait to...

Every cabin had a fire pit (of some kind), outdoor tables & chairs, and propane grills. ||Bill, the owner was awesome! We ran out of propane on one of the tanks & he brought a replacement within minutes. We had a couple of other things that we needed his help with and he was right there when needed.||There is a nice walking trail, paddle boats, canoes, paddle boards, life jackets and even a water bouncy trampoline! So much fun! ||They also have 5 RV hookups down from the cabins. We can’t wait to come next year as a group. Read moreWe have stayed here a handful of times in the last couple years and have always enjoy our stay! If you are looking for a quite, peaceful outdoor setting in East Texas.....look no further! The owners are nice and ease of communication with them is great. Just text and they answer your questions and bring you ice/firewood or other small supplies you might need, right to your RV door. The concrete RV pads are large and have a picnic table and large fire pit. The full sewer hookup is nice to have and also the 50 amp electricity. We just camped last weekend and brought our youngest grandson. He caught his first fish from their fully stocked pond. It is catch and release, but we really enjoyed seeing how excited he was. It is a small resort, with only 5 RV pads and 5 cabins....but it is a nice place to relax and just enjoy mother nature! They have paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and even provide life jackets (no extra charge)! I recommend booking a few months in advance, as they book up very quickly. They do have lots of acreage and trails in the woods for walking, riding bikes or golf carts. Also, the history of the property is very interesting. They give you information on it with their welcome packet on day of arrival. So, keep Trinity Luxury RV Resort & Cabins on your bucket list and go stay with them real soon! You will not be...
