I have never stay at the campground but my husband's uncle owes a camp on the right side from the campground on the left side. But they have a bath house, place they cook with some good food and playset for kids, areas to ride your golf cart. Docks to drop the boats, kayaks or any water toy & docks to swim off of or fish. Now the sunsets are amazing cause you are right on the river, you will see huge boats pushing fuel and if you are on kayaks, even if a boat goes by, they do not care, you have to keep fighting the waves off them. Soon you get out of 1 here comes 2 more but best times are mornings or evenings. I love going to his uncles camp that's not in this campground, this campground is on left side after cross tracks and his camp is on right and the ones on right are private owed. Can't wait to go back up there for the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant cause its just minutes away.

This rural campground houses full time friendly residents and seasonal campers with full hook-up sites. We keep and visit ours here all year around. They have a restaurant, Stewart's on the River, a deli and grocery with ice, fire wood, etc on site. Stewart's has home cooked meals, comfort foods, baked goods, and more. They have a local Campground Activities Group who schedules activities for kids and adults alike. Karaoke, Pot lucks, Cook outs, Trick or treat, 4th of July activities, and more..

The restaurant at the campground makes this a 5 star!! All homemade food and amazing prices. Great back patio to eat on and enjoy some tv or the river passing by. The sites are around a little fishing lake and on the river. Bathrooms and showers are very rustic but warm water running in the shower. 5 miles from Point Pleasant where we learned about the MothMan. Friendly and helpful staff all around. Would definitely come back again.

As Stan Luikart posted it is true! When we moved in there the rent for our site was 1100.00 per year 2 years later he raised it to 1300.00 which we felt was understandable. So this year when we were told 3600.00 we thought it was ludacris. We looked into it and found Garry Peck which has always had the itch for get rich quick schemes, learned the Pipeline was moving through and people were getting 700.00 per month for the Pipeliners. So in order to get most of us out quickly he raised the yearly dues to 3600.00 so he could move the Pipeliners in. There are people like Stan Luikart whom have never had sewer and had to empty their own tanks plus pay 1100.00 per year. Now mind you the rates originally were dependent on the site . River sites 1500.00 Lake sites 1300.00 and 1100.00 non sewer sites. Now they will all be 3600.00 regardless of the location . Now he has said the sewer will be completed soon, however he has been saying that for at least 4 years I know of. Just seems as though the place has been miss managed for years especially since he started Peck Fest. I feel he was investing the monies in the wrong place there again trying to make money fast. Now I am so upset not for myself as we have found a better place for ours but for some of the elderly on fixed incomes that have invested in their sites and feel safe and enjoy it there now are being forced out due to him raising the fee basically 3 times what most were paying. Just think hard before you put your trust in this guy. By no means is this the Pipeliners fault poor people are trying to make a living and the Garry Pecks of the world taking advantage. So sad people operate their businesses on...

I called for an over night stay and spoke with the owner who was very nice, hospitable and texted me my site number and said we are on the lake. We were excited for our stay. That’s where the great part ended. When we got to the campground we saw that most of the campers actually are set up to live here, that’s fine but the ones around us seemed to be a bit rough and their places were trashy. We didn’t get any paperwork or info so I don’t know if there is a quiet time curfew BUT people were talking until around 12:30 a.m. and the guy next to us was throwing things out of his trailer at 5:50 a.m. That was quite noisy BUT then he began cleaning with his shop vac just after 7:00 a.m. We found the lake was actually a scummy pond and our water was a yellowish color with an odor. We chose to not use it. We are very disappointed that we found this campground to be so unkept due to the initial contact with such a nice owner. We would not recommend this campground to anyone unless you are homeless and absolutely need a place to stay. This is NOT the $55 per night stay you think you would get for that price. The night before we stayed in a campground in Lansing, WV that was the same price and it had concrete pads, great owners, very clean and several seasonal campers that kept their places looking nice & what you would expect...

We stayed for the weekend of the 2024 Mothman Festival. Prior to our stay I had a few questions and was able to get a response very quickly via email.

During our stay we found the bathroom facilities to be very clean and were cleaned at least twice a day. While there is no picnic tables at your actual campsite there is several picnic tables under a shelter on the campground.

There is a store located onsite with an attached restaurant that had just about everything that you could need or want. There is easy access to the river and a small pond on site.

There was also live music for 2 days we were there.

The owner of the campground was very friendly and helpful.

There is a playground for kids, along with a basketball hoop and a volleyball court.

The campground is located right outside Point Pleasant so it did not take much time for us to drive to town for the festival.

There is not much shade on the campground, however did not affect our trip in anyway. But is a nice to know for future campers.

All in all I have nothing bad to say about this campground. The owner is nice, the sites are level, clean and for the most part I believe had full hook up for campers. They do have a bathroom onsite if you don’t want to do hookup or a tent camper. I would give this campground 10 stars...
